Wedding Dress
I got it PLEASE tell me what you think!

Well for those of you who might not be aware I bought everything online. I got my dress, veil and shoes, my 3 bridesmaids dresses and their shoes and 2 flowergirl dresses. Along with all my centerpieces, favors, guestbook, table runners, candles, disposable bling cameras, placecards, wedding guest bags.........you get the picture...

Anyway I received my dress yesterday was a bit nervous as I never tried on ANY dresses, none at all. I saw this dress fell in love got measured and ordered it. It has a slight a-line which I want to take in slightly and is a bit big on bust area as Ive lost a little weight so just have to get it altered. So here are the pics let me know what you think.

I also got a birdcage veil but..........it looks really delicate when I put on in comparison to the dress which is quite understated I think I need a bold veil or something. I know Ive no make up or my hair isnt done but I think on the day if Im not feeling the veil Im going with a flower in my hair (updo) if the weather is very fine and no wind whatsoever I may opt for the hair down but thats a big if......

I know some of you were quite anxious to see the dress from me buying online but I must tell you the lady I dealt with was an absolute dream from beginning to finish and I would recommend her to everyone. She made my life so much easier and was so easy to contact and help me make choices nothing was ever too much for her. www.marisanicolebridal.com - she does 40% less than retail price if you even email her and ask for a quote it will be worth it ladies I am telling you she could save you a hell of a lot of money!

Honestly,
Its stunning. I love it on you. I dont think you could have picked a better dress for your body.  Obviously it needs a bit of an alter with your weight loss(yay! lol) but so pretty.  I agree about the birdcage might be too delicate.... but you should go into a bridal store and try on a few with the dress(Im sure they wont care because theyre getting money from you either way) . I think the front of yours dress resembles "AugustBride08" and I loved her veil with her dress... check out her veil maybe you think it would suit your dress too...

P.S. if you havent bought a necklace yet I could recommend pearls with this dress.. I think that pearls go so beautifully with button back dresses... maybe Im crazy?

LOVE IT!!  It's so simple yet so elegant all at the same time...and it'll be just perfect for a destination wedding!!  About the veil, I would definitely try on the dress with a longer veil just to see what you think but I think that your birdcage veil is very beautiful and since it's an outdoor wedding on the beach overlooking the cliff, then it might be just fine cause you might not want it to look like it's too much you know??!!  A flower in your hair would also look really great too...it's so hard to choose lol!!  I would say just try on a couple of different looks that you like as far as hair and veils/headpieces/flowers/whatever and then see what looks best on you actually IN your dress and hopefully that will help you make a final decision!!  And YES I am definitely gonna be contacting Marisa Nicole Bridal now lol!! ;-)

I like the dress. I think the birdcage veil would work with it, too. I see a hollywood glam sort of style with the combination of dress and veil. But you should definitely try them on together and maybe other veils, too, so you know what you like best.

I LOVE that dress on you!  I lt is definately you.  I love the sweatheart neckline and the simplicity of the dress.  Perfect for your beach wedding.  I would have been so nervous to order a dres without trying it on first (that's my dillema right).  I am so happy that it worked out for you.  YAY!

That dress is completely stunning.  It looks great on you!!   Im so glad you were able to find such an honest and easy going person on the internet.  I know sometimes its so hard to trust people on the internet.  You really did find a great fine!! You look beautiful in it!!  I definetly agree with wakelin2bee, if you like pearls, which I do, but they would look absolutely amazing with the details of the buttons on the back and the brooch on the side.  I definetly agree with her.  Im glad you were able to find the dress!  You look beautiful!!

**WOW** You look stunning!!!! That dress shows your shape wonderfully! I think the birdcage viel would look great with it. YOU want to be the attention of your wedding ceremony, not your veil! LOL! Plus, you won't be wearing it all night. I think they go together like two peas in a pod!

You look beautiful! I love your dress, and the brooch detail is sooo elegant! The shoes and earrings even match too! If you aren't feeling the birdcage veil, maybe a simple one layer fingertip veil would look nice with some little rhinestones.

your dress is fantastic! Like you said.. all it needs is a little seamstress work to tweak it.... and it'll be perfect! Now your birdcage veil may seem a little delicate.... but remember your hair will be styled and that makes all the difference in the world.. but if you want another veil then get one girly! The fabric is beautiful the cut and the style are so very perfect on your shape.  Now this is what I call a destination bridal dress.  Classic, flirty and oh so sexy.
