Flower or veil?

So when I tried on the dress as its so understated the veil didnt really (I thought) do much for the look. I think this will all only fall in place really on the day. I did get a gorgeous handmade flower on ebay as a back up for my hair if I choose not to use the veil. Just want to know your thoughts as you know I am opting for a vintage kinda 40's look for the hair. Will attach all the pics yet again so you see where Im coming from! Read the little phrases under the pics so you know what Im talking about! Happy New Year by the way......no rest for the wicked 35 days to go where has the time gone?

I have a dress simular to this- vintage inspired. I decided to go without the veil because it just did not look right. I deicded to go with a flower or a hair comb. It will look amazing!!!!

im also going with a lily flower instead of a veil.  Im having a spring wedding and i think it will go perfect with my fun theme.  Your gardenia flower looks pretty.

I'd definitely pick the flower, but then again, I don't like birdcage veils. :)

I love the '40's look you are going for. Ultimately, make the decision regarding the veil, that you feel most comfortable in on your day!  You should feel your most beautiful!

I decided day before wedding to go without a veil covering my face and day of to go without veil altogether. :)

I think you are right . . . take both options and day of go with what you want.  Both will look great.
