When all is said & done, do our opinions still count?

I was thinking when all is said and done, the planning is over and the wedding finito. I am wondering do the brides on here like the "post - wedding" advice and help when some of us arent planning anymore. What I mean is some of us on here have the moral support of planning our weddings when that is over do our opinions still matter?

I read an article recently and this woman actually suffered from depression after her wedding was over and she had no project as such to do. I would love to stay on the site and keep in touch with everyone and give advice when asked Im just wondering if the other brides felt the same? Random I know but I still wanted to know!

I agree!  I'm excited to be getting married, and all that is to come....but all I do right now is plan. It's definitely my biggest project and I've loved every minute of it so far.  When it's done I'm going to need another big project to keep me busy I think!
And I am definitly going to miss everyones ideas and whatnot on here!

I like when people still come on after the wedding and post how things went! And I enjoy many brides (like yours) opinions. I'm going to be sad when all the "regulars" are going to leave and get married! Then I won't get as many opinions on things and brides to get excited about my posts!

Please DO post after the wedding if you have the time! :)

Girl, don't make us come to Ireland to track you down! You have to keep in touch with us and be a level head when we start freaking out! Besides, who is going to get my humor if you aren't around? Also, you can let us know what to be wary of and whata to pay extra attention to and all that. You know that you are going to find some great buys that are wedding related, and we need those tips!! Keep it going girl!!

i love it when brides come on here and post advice from their first hand experience of how something worked in their wedding. and i love to see their pics too.  i really hope we still get to hear from you after your wedding and that we get to see pics of how beautiful your day was:) i am so excited for you!!

I am very new and I think it would be really helpful to hear from someone who had RECENTLY been through all of this. Sure, my mom and aunts are great but their weddings were 20 years ago. Ummm......things have changed just a touch.

I have read all of your blogs and can't wait to see pictures of how it all came together. Enjoy your day!

I agree!  We are all going to miss you.  You are always one to give me good advice and you always posted on my blog!  Even if it wasnt necessary.  I wish there was a website/blog site for Newlyweds were we could all meet again...and continue to help each other out after the vows are said.  Does anybody know of one :)??  I hope you come back and tell us all about your special day too.  Im dieing to hear about it :)

Ha! The girl at work askes me that all the time.."What are you going to do when you get married?!" Cause I'm always on here...maybe I should do some work LOL! Seriously though, I read your posts constantly (mostly cause I'm also having a destination wedding and a reception later like you!) I'm dying to know how thing turn out and see your pictures...I'll still read your blogs until I get married!

As far as ME posting...I might post until maybe a month or so after I get married/reception so you girls can see my pictures. Maybe a post about where we're going for our honeymoon, but I don't think brides will care what I'm doing in my day-to-day married life once I'm not planning my wedding anymore (sigh)

Personally, I think we all want to be at your wedding!  It is going to be awesome and you have worked on it so hard and put so much sweat and blood into it.  I enjoy reading about the newlyweds how everything went, what they would have changed, what was important that day, what they did that didn't really matter, etc.  it's good insight for others to hear from a bride that has just been through it all.  I say post away after you are finished.  Of course we want to see pics and such and eveyrone loves to have advice from someone who already went through it!

I got really depressed after my wedding. But then I snapped out of it and realized what fun I really did have afterall. I was obsessed with details and when those details didn't go my way, I couldn't stop thinking disaster, and honestly, no one else really noticed any of it, nor did they care, so i'm letting it go too.

I think after our weddings we have a lot of advice for brides to be. Including pictures, to give them idea's, responses to vendors, idea's we wish we had gone with instead, etc. And it continues to inspire. I have a few more things to post on my blog about my wedding as well.

I am getting married in Mexico in 15 months and would definately like some tips once you get back as to what you really liked and what you might have wanted to change.. just so I know:) Can't wait to see pictures, have a great wedding and congrats :)

I love when already-married WBC brides keep posting stuff! I especially love the insight and advice they can provide, such as what they would have done differently, or what we shouldn't worry about etc. I think it's great!
