I am soooo sorry to hear this sad news.  I agree with you she was a lovely lady and she will be greatly missed, her family are in my thoughts and prayers.

OMG...I am in such shock right now!!  Marta was actually the first bride I ever "fave'd" on this site and her blog was one of the main reasons why I ever even joined this site!!  I used to do all of my wedding research just by googling everything...but somehow that led me to Marta's blog, and after looking around at hers and many other blogs on this site, that's when I decided to join and create my own!!  I'm soo saddened by this news...Marta was such a warm, caring, and helpful person to EVERYONE she came in contact with...I even still have some e-mails saved from her where she tried to help me with some invitation designs!!  It is soo true that tomorrow is NEVER promised to anyone...and it always seems to be the people who are the MOST deserving to live that God decides to take too soon!!  Obviously God was constantly looking down over Marta and saw what an amazingly warm hearted person she was and He must have decided that He just couldn't wait any longer to have such a deserving ANGEL in His presence!!  With tears in my eyes as I type this...I send my deepest sympathies and prayers of condolences to her family, especially to her husband of only a few short months Dwayne, and to her mother and twin sister.  I cannot even begin to imagine what they are going through right now...but I know that Marta is looking down over all of her family right now and smiling and they will definitely see her again one day!!

I'm still in shock over her death. When I came across her blog months after I joined WBC, she inspired me so much with her ideas. My heart goes out to her husband and family. She's been on my mind since yesterday and will be praying for the family.

wow - this is terrible news. Its never good to lose such wonderful people are a young age. Does any one know happened?

I will keep her family in my thoughts and prayers.

Marta had a brain aneurysm rupture last Thursday(oct 22nd) while at work. I was told a coworker did CPR and she was rushed to the hospital. She was considered clinically dead for 15-20 minutes and in that time a lot of damage was done to her heart and brain. She was strong enough to have surgery on her brain the following day, but test after test have showed little activity.

I am so saddened to hear about Marta's sudden death.  She was such a sweet person.  She helped me out alot with my wedding plans especially my water bottle labels.  My heart goes out to her family especially her husband Dwayne!  God has just called another angel of his home to do better work.

this breaks my heart every time I read about it.  I left a message on gratefulbride's page, but want to leave one here too.  My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and new husband.  I can't imagine how he is coping.  I know how it is to lose someone you are close to and it hurts...I can't imagine losing the love of your life.  RIP Marta.

Wow! I am so shocked, she was an inspiration to me as well. Please pray for the family and her husband dwayne.

Man....(breathe), I've been really trying to deal with this since yesterday. I was a total wreck all yesterday. I couldn't even funtion right at all after hearing this news. Today, I must say is a newer day and I'm much better dealing with this.

Marta wedding was one week after mines. Originally our 10th anniversary was to be celebrated on the 2nd of May this year. With delays and all, our wedding date was changed to May 23rd instead. Marta had me laughing so, because she used to make fun of me being in the number 2 slot on the Popular Blog home page. She used to be in that spot, until I knocked her down a slot. We really used to talk about this with laughter of coarse. I remember when we had to change our wedding date, she emailed me and said, "Oh No You Didn't! You are not taking my wedding date (May 30, 2009) too, are you? LOL" ...This was so sentimental to me right now, because I have had 10 years and 6 months of wedding bliss with my husband and she only had 6 months with hers. Such a sad situation...There is no way in the world how I/we can feel Dwayne's pain right now. I posted a blog on 11/4/09 about: "Dating after the death of our spouse?" I had chills all day yesterday about that blog. I just want to tell all the brides here, LIVE FOR TODAY AND NOT FOR TOMORROW  I've never imagined how close we do get to our WBC family here until yesterday. We have never met, but mannnnn...it's like we've always been connected and even still now. Thanks for posting Gratefulbride and Irishpocahontas!

Oh my goodness...I'm so sorry about that! I prayers and condolences are with her and her family!

This makes me feel so sad and sick. I'm so saddened by this and her and her family and friends will be in my prayers. I still cannot believe it.

This is terrible, and has made me very sad. Marta was a fabulous bride on here during my planning before the wedding, and this is so upsetting. My thoughts are with her family.

I'm in shock! I just saw this post and can't beleive that she's gone!  She was a wonderful person and inspired so many brides on here... May God keep her safe and bless her family especially in this time of need.

Oh my GOD I am deepen sadden by the lost of one of our WBC bride she was an inspiration to me and I am sure to many more. Oh my God if I can just stop my tears from flowing , my prayers go out to her Husband and family. RIP Marta. I can truly sympathize with the family for my brother whom was only 48 died of the same thing 3 years ago.

OMG this is so sad I am speechless .  I pray for her new husbands and family strength to stay strong, in the name if jesus.

I have not been on the site since that much since the wedding but I never thought when I came in today this is what I would hear. She was so sweet! a lovely bride. I wish her family the best in this time.

wow! Im in shock! I was gone for a while from this site & i finally come back & decided to see wat marta had posted recently cuz the last blog i had seen i loved wich was the ceremony videos. But then i read this! Its horrible & so sad!...i wouldnt be able to imagine wat i would do if i lost my loved one like that....so suddenly. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

I joined this WBC in early December, right after I have gotten engaged this past November.  I happen to have come across her page a few weeks ago looking up colors/ideas.  I didn't know at that time she had passed.  It truly saddens me to have learned of her passing.  I remember looking at her page earlier and thinking wow, what a beautiful bride and groom.  They looked really magnificent together.  My heart and prayers goes out to her dear husband she left behind and all family and friends....her spirit shall live forever in their hearts *one love, bless*
