They are absolutely perfect together they were so excited about getting married and had no nerves whatsover, it was so nice after watching them through the years go out for the first time, move in together, get engaged, build a house and now get married, so happy for them! I will have more pics to post later!

Are you going to make a speech on your day?
I was wondering if you had thought about saying a few words on your big day. I was at my SIL wedding yesterday and they did a great thing of having the speeches before the meal. It took the pressure off as the groom and best man were so nervous about having to do the speech so having it before the meal was great. They were much more relaxed and able to enjoy their meal then. My SIL got up after the meal and made a toast to the grooms deceased parents. Then after the meal the best man read out the cards and messages from people that couldnt make it. I dont think I would have the nerve to make a speech but I would like to thank everyone for coming alright so I may change my mind! I was just wondering if any of you were going to take center stage or let the men do it!

How to do a Countdown timer
Mine is to the right of my page
I did mine with www.rockyou.com - you just open an account and click on countdown timer - add the time of your wedding, the background you want, colour and type of text and click save/get code.
You then copy the code displayed and copy it into the profile details to the right of your page >>>>>>>>>>>>>> You are better off pasting it in the "about my wedding" section! Good luck |

Ok so as you know I really wanted feather centerpieces but its just not going to work for me as its an outdoor reception on the beach! There is no way I would be able to do this bringing everything or taking a chance sending them to Mex on the offchance they didnt arrive! Soooooo....I looked into the centrepieces that the hotel offered and the ones I did like I couldnt justify spending nearly $200 per centerpiece on when the flowers would die anyway. Sooooooo I ave decided on lanterns.........the mini ones have arrived and the moroccan ones have yet to......so excited these will look sooo good on the tables on the beach when it gets dark and better still I can re use them or sell them. I am also going to place silver and purple butterflies here and there on the lanterns. I can also box them up over there and post them back to myself instead of having to drag them all the way back in my baggage.....have posted a pic of inspiration too!

My bling cameras have arrived!
These are absolutely gorgeous they are going to look great on the tables I am going to put a camera scavenger hunt on purple card alongside the cameras to get the guests to take particular shots instead of the messing and stuff that normally happens with these kind of things! Will have one of the bridesmaids collect the cameras then later on!

They look really good and just what I wanted. Not sure though if there is room to write names on them dont know if it will take from the placecard which I dont want to do either! They said you can write on it with a pen used for glass but Im not so sure really! Im sure I'll figure it out!
