I have 53 days until my wedding and I feel so unorganized and I am ready to burst into tears..I don't know what is wrong with me?!

My dress is in, picked it up with my veil, headpiece and jewellery which I will try & post some pics soon! ...my dress is at the seamstress and I was so stressed that it wouldn't fit - weight complex; remarks from my mother..yada yada..anyways its actually big and needs to be taken in..however being strapless their is an issue with a bra.. I want to keep the girls locked & stocked that day & don't want to be one of those brides pulling up her dress in every picture...I've ordered a bustier from a reputable bra company here in the city, but I didn't realize the back of my dress is so low ..my seamstress said she can change the back of the gown to add a privacy panel and do the lacing up the back...which I am not a fan of and one of the reasons I chose the dress I did bc it DIDN'T have that type of back. - no offence to anyone who does ladies, its just not my style - although in the end may have to be.

Met with our wedding coordinator today.. do not like her!!!..When we originally booked our reception site there was a different coordinator & general manager & that has since changed..we get there & she asked if we brought our original contract bc she couldn't find our file anywhere..umm okk...then she says well it has to be here somewhere in my computer.. I don't delete anything, but I move stuff around & can't find it after..are you kidding me lady?! Whos says that?! I just didn't like her attitude or think she was suited for that job

My Bmaids dresses are in as well..the color turned out to be really nice.. I am very happy with them..what I am not happy with is my bmaids..(see past post for start of it)...two of my bmaids live out of town ..my MOH is trying so hard to set up a shower for me and my mother keeps holding decsions up & dragging things out..my MOH went ahead and emailed the other bmaids & told them the place, date, menu, price etc...enough is enough kind of thing..so the 2 out of town said it was great, go for it..but they also want my MOH to pay for EVERYTHING & they will pay her back that day...ummmmm is that not rude bc I honestly think so & am actually embarassed by it..there is a $500 dep required to book the room which is put towards the total cost of the shower but still...they want her to foot the bill for the deposit, invites, stamps, favours ect.. and they will pay her back? I DON"T THINK SO!!! Thats alot of $$$ for anyone and completely outrageous! My mother picked my bmaids except my MOH and now they are being difficult and she want my MOH to clean up the mess.. I am so angry.. my one bmaid has not replied to any of the emails my MOH sent..my mom has called her and she seems all chipper but then nothing...my MOH doesn't even know if she is putting in for the shower or what...my mother told me to tell my MOH to call her & ask her.. I am so pissed! I still don't know if she has found the elusive gold shoes (she needs flats) & I know her dress is still at the bridal store..ARGH!

And please tell me if I am being a total Bridezilla..are your groomsmen wearing the same shoes? Rented or otherwise? My FI wanted to pick out their outfits and I was fine with that..he did a good job, all I asked was that they have the same dress shoes for pics etc...they are $26 okkkkk.!!! None of them want too..his bestman who has been his best friend since childhood has refused & so has his brother in law..ummm excuse me! Its not like they have had to put $$ out for anything!!!! My FI & I are paying for our wedding ourselves...my parents told us years ago they would not pay bc they paid for me to go to University & his parents have both passed on, bless them....HOWEVER..his gmen consist of his best friend, bro in law & his 2 bro...& they have done nothing for him, he really wanted a stag & doe but none of them offered to set it up, help or show interest at all...in fact when we were talking about it his sister said we could use her hubby ( again who is in the bridal party) for a bartender for $12.hr...EXCUSE ME?!?!?! ...You want me to pay him?! Is it me, really ladies, please someone tell me if I am being a total bridezilla!!!! Needless to say we didn't have a stag & doe bc I refused to put the $ out for one..we're on a tight budget & if we took a loss we'd be screwed..so not one of them even said a word about not having a stag & doe, they have not offered to set up a stag for him, he's embarassed his siblings have not offered to go together to pay for the rehearsal dinner..they are all older & well established.. I told him not to worry about, we'll have a bbq dinner & make due w. what we can afford..

I just feel really bad for my FI bc his family is showing no interest at all..his sister offered us her place of work for the bridal shower but its a local tourist attraction and she wanted all my guests to sign waivers stating its ok for them to take and use their photos for publicity & sales purposes.. I am NOT asking my little old aunties or my guests to sign a waiver as they come into my shower..anyways, my MOH found another place and apparently she is pretty pissed & won't go in or help out with the shower anymore...My FI wanted to do one of those slideshows showing the two of us as kids, growing up & together etc..his sister has the family photo albums & he has asked repeatedly for the albums & she hasn't taken the time to get them for him...he's been waiting almost 2 months now..I know he's hurting & I just want to make him feel better & cheer him up

I'm sure I have plenty more to bitch about but I think I'm running out of steam..LOL! ...with my bmaids & my mom holding everything up I feel so embarassed sending my shower & wedding invites out so late..Oh! but on a happy note, I love my invites..I think they are the greatest! LOL!.. I will try & post pics of them soon too... only issue w, those is that they don't come with an inner envelope so putting multiple guest names will be tricky..hmmm

Ok I think I have bitched myself right into bed.. I'm exhausted..again ladies please feel free to tell me if I'm being a total Bridezilla!!! GRR!

My Fi was insistent that he get to choose the favours for our wedding...I don't know why?! LOL!...He chose ice cream scoops which have been ordered and recieved ages ago..I have been pondering whether or not to wrap them...I really want to personalize our wedding but I also don't want to come across as being obsessive and excessive either..has anyone else done this? What do you think?

I also think they look really nice at the table but how do you work it out so the people at the venue know whos single and gets one vs one per couple ...does that make sense?

Sooo...my dress is finally in!! I am very excited about this! Got the call yesterday and two days before that about my bmaids dresses being in! So far so good...have to go and pick it all up now along with my veil and headpiece..My FH and I live together so storing the dress here is not going to happen..I was under the impression I could leave it with the store where it was purchased, however that is not the case..Hmmm...guess its off to Mom & Pops house perhaps?

Having a bit of a shoe delimna...I am 5 '10 so its not often if ever that I need to wear heels..I LOVE them & so wish I could walk in them!!! LOL! All of my bmaids aside from one have decided on a shoe they all will wear... I really LOVE the shoe & want them in silver for myself..they are pretty cheap - so I'm thinking of maybe buying them & if doesn't work out just getting another pair that will have a lower heel...Hmmm...

Also having an issue with the aforementioned one bmaid..she is really tall and understandably cannot wear more than 1 or 1 1/2 in heel..I totally understand that!!! BUT!!!! I have given her soooo many options for low or flat heel shoes and she turns them all down - either too much $$ or doesn't like them - says " nope, not for me".....honestly I think the prob is she just doesn't like gold...she keeps trying to get me to change to black or silver & I don't want too..especially now that the others picked out their shoes...when she was looking on her own she would always come back and say she can't find any gold., only silver and black....Ahhh HELLO!!!! Its summer, metallics are in..give me a break! I sent her a link to two more pairs & told her that was it, I am done looking for her & she will have to just pick one ot the two pairs..is it me? Am I wrong? My brother is so pissed with her bc she has given me nothing but trouble and wants me to kick her out of the wedding party - its my cousin btw...- my sil told me to tell her I am not looking for shoes for her anymore, that a) I am a new mom & don't have time & b) I'm the bride!!!! LOL!.... she's being such a bitch about everything but for whatever reason I can't seem to open my mouth..any advice..am I wrong? Lemme know!

I love Martha Stewart & all her craftiness...however I am no Martha people! But, we have a budget that needs to be followed which means its time to roll up the sleeves & try to be creative..wish me luck, I'm gonna need it!!! Sad part is, I only have small projects to do! HAHA! I really want to make our money box, create table name cards, I Do letters for the cake table, bathroom baskets & a Happily Ever After - this way sign & a bar sign...anddd I think thats it at the moment..I purchased the wooden "I Do" letters at Michaels along with a can of gold colored paint...so wish me luck! I'll try & post the pics whether they turn out or turn out to be a disaster! LOL!

So tell me..and be honest...did anyone..anyone at all?! Have their bmaids chosen by someone else?..My Mother is not one to go against and she basically picked all of my bmaids..none of whom I would of chosen...she doesn't believe in having your friends stand up with you bc she figures in 5 years they won't be around any longer and it should always, always, always be family....ugh!!!! ..I have ended up with a cousin who is seriously driving me crazy...one who doesn't care - which is actually helpful...one who acts like she doesn't but then always puts her two cents in at the last minute...My MOH I originally chose. She is much younger than our cousins, but she is like a little sister to me. Unfortunately she has moved out west with her boyfriend for work & is unable to fulfill any of her duties, even possibly unable to attend the wedding... I was disappointed but I understood...I know if she had the $ & if she could be here with me, she would...sooo I have gone ahead and asked a girlfriend of mine. She is so wonderful! She put a downpayment on her bmaid dress without even seeing it...does whatever I ask or need without complaint or question...I've already warned my mother & other bmaids to be nice and treat her with respect OR ELSE!!! LOL!.. I have to admit I can be pretty outspoken at times and when I should be a so called bridezilla I am not... the dresses that were chosen are a dark pink - I will try & post them... and I would like the girls to wear gold shoes..apparently this is an issue..she cannot find gold shoes anywhere - is it me?!?! Either that or they are too expensive...has anyone else had probs with their bmaids? How do you handle it? Everyone is telling me to tell them this is what I want - go get it...yet, I can't for the life of me open my mouth..help?!?!

We have a great photographer named Shawn Taylor...he is very friendly and easy on the budget...well, we again were lucky because I thought we were going to be at a loss for a photographer because of our limited budget and lo & behold, his ad was sitting in my email one night..he was an experienced photographer but new on the wedding scene..he was actually planning his own wedding when he found out what wedding photographers charged and decided that it was so outrageous he would get into the bridal business at a reasonable and respectable price. We are very fortunate to have found Shawn because we did have to change our original wedding date - we were blessed with an unexpected pregnancy - and he changed the date & honoured the original price we agreed upon even though his rates have gone up since his business took off.

They are absolutely AMAZING and are not just based here in Ontario, they go everywhere including out of country..believe me, if it was in our budget for a videographer they would be my 1st & only call! Check them out, even if you just want to be nosy..there was one that made me cry..LOL!.. the couples day was captured but instead of music they used their ceremony & vows to accompany the photos! BEAUTIFUL!
