This is ivorylove's Black Wedding!

It's been 30 days already. So much has been happening with getting used to my wonderful married life? We will be featured in a local bridal magazine in the December or January issue. So excited for that!!! In the meantime let me start here?

I've been waiting and waiting of some good pictures. Seems like everyone that attended the wedding had to much to drink, because either our heads were missing, or there was a lot of floor takings. Finally, here are some of our professional photos. I have about 2,000 of them, lol...

Starting with our day, it was a beautiful morning. Me and the girls were picked up in the limo at 9:00 a.m. and were taken to the hotel venue to have our hair and facials done. That was outstanding, because or wedding didn't start till later on that evening. We had plenty of time and it was not rushed and I felt no stresses at all!

The best thing for you and your appeciation of your wedding party (girls) is to treat them to this. I'm so glad we did this at the venue, because I can not imagine running aroung downtown , meeting up with them an any of them showing up late? It was none of that nonscense! they were with me from 9:00 a.m. until midnite! They were so good to me! Even though my step-daughter was my MOH, she did very well and was by my side continuously through out the day. Only one bad things she experienced was her aching feet. LOL

FLIP FLOPS ARE A MUST!

I bought about 10 flip flops for the reception and they flew like hot cakes. Even the MEN wore them, what the ---K? The groomsmen were the ones to complain, can you believe it? Make sure to by some for the men too!

RSVP - Guest list
Bullcrap about R.sv.p's are sometimes a lie. Some people did at 138 and 152 showed up at the reception. How was that? THEY DIDN'T!! I'm sorry to say that some of our guests were turned away because of that. When we gave in the list of 145, just in case for this particular problem, we DID NOT have the extra space for the extra 8! With exceptions, since a couple of them were out of towners, we paid out of pocket up front, just to get the 4 to stay. Be ready and reserve extra seating like this.

"Thank You Rhonda!" I'm so glad we had silk flowers because it was extremely hot that day. She did such a marvelous job on them. They will last forever, the quality was just perfect and we had so many compliments on them. Some of our guests said, I've never seen a black and ivory bouquet before and with feathers. So many compliments on them. I would highly, HIGHLY RECOMMEND her for doing any silk assortments. She was so open and listened so well to our requests and to top all of that, her patience is superb!

I also have to say thank you to her on a lot of items that we purchased, Fans-(The guests absolutely loved them), cardbox-( Chanel box was perfect and the guests couldn't or never seen such a thing), rehersal dinner invites-(something that I couldn't do myself because I was so busy), wedding itinarary (which helped out above), Lace Menu Cards (so many compliments on the uniqueness that was done and never seen before), Tears of Joys (their was not a dry eye in the house. Even the men were tearing up too and they came in handy from the heat and sweating that occured), Table numbers - (A MUST HAVE, because we had 16 tables, they are so needed and fit in with the theme perfectly) Thanks again Mrs.Rhonda!

Service was wonderful! It was a good $400.00 but woth it, because they dropped us off at the hotel venue and picked up up around 4:30 to take us about a mile to the church.

DEBT- for the wedding
Luckily we stuck to the budget that we had from the beginning. Our budget was $9,000.00 and we were very strict on spending. The venue is the most expensive because of catering, wine and so on. That's were you really spend it on.

Our rehersal dinner is tomorrow night and my sister in law was complaining about it being to early. We are getting married next week and she thinks it should be done the night or the couple of nights before. I know I will be busy next week and I don't have time for it to tie up my 4 hours of a deadline of the wedding day.

When you are guys having your rehersal dinner?

Love it! Since she's my MOH, she'll be wearing this gown and the other girls will be wearing simular ones without the belt.

She's my goregous stepdaughter. So proud!

I'm really not to crafty, but I'm so proud of myself.

I love them! All tables will have the colors of ivory, black and lace pieces. These will be added to the tables for our guests.

Help me pick something. I have a million songs that I love. Not to mention that fiance has a million also.

What songs are you using for your first dance?

Well I am! I'm not going to put up with any bull -$&% from any of my girls on my wedding day. After my girls were bugging me and asking me questions over and over again about, what time do we meet again? Where do we go? What time again! It had me so worried about this situation, but not anymore? I had Rhonda @ Partyshakers.com create me an itinarary for me and the girls and I'm so relieved. I will be handing these out at my wedding party next week, because now they are going to be informed about my day in writing. Also they are lucky that I'm flipping the bill for thier hair and limo.

I was thinking about getting the mongramed ones, but changed my mind at the last minute. No one is really going to see this anyway from the pews, lol. These will do just fine! I might add some black lace to it? Dunno.

These are off the hindges! I just received our photos of our finished reception menus! WE JUST LOVE THEM!!! It was a very hard decision on getting the circulars or rectangles, but these I just love! After talking about this with her, she wanted to try something different and I told her to go for it! Love the detail of the added laces and decor. Can't wait to get them!
