going crazy
i cannot seem to find a dress that i would actually like to wear... i want it to be perfect... does anyone have any suggestions?

What are you looking for?  Maybe we can help if we know that.  The one thing I would suggest is to try on dresses even if you don't like it in pictures or on the rack.  Some of the best dresses for me were ones I didn't like until i put it on.  And, it seems like i'm not the only one who felt that way.

Are you just looking online or actually trying them on?

I've heard many times that people try on dresses they wouldn't normally see themselves wearing and find the perfect fit.

I agree with the last comments.  When I went dress shopping, none of the ones I had picked out in the magazine looked good at all.  If you know a particular style you like, tell the salesperson and sometimes she will come up with dresses you never would have considered that look amazing.  I would suggest trying all styles of gowns too.  I originally wanted a ball gown type dress and ended up going with more of the A-line style.  You'll find it!

I think the most important thing, for me, is to lose all ideas you have in your head, and just try a bunch on.  I thought I wanted halter, and A-line, and princess poof...I got strapless (my last choice, due to holding it up can be a pain), almost mermaid, and NO poof.  It's amazing how a dress can look yuck on a manequin, and gorgeous on you.

the only thing i can tell u is shop till u drop, try as much as u can. i went to every shop that carried wedding dresses in my area and tryed so many dresses i cant remember them all. but that how i found out what style and color looks good on me and at the end got my dress.

OK, here it is...go into a store and start trying on dresses for fun! Pick the most crazy and outrageous dresses and just try them on. It don't cost you anything to try them on and believe me before you know it, you'll have found the dress! I just went in and brought a good friend with me, she made me try on the most rediculous dresses but we had so much fun laughing it really took the stress out of the day and I ended up finding my dress on our first day out looking.
