Wedding Decoration
My centerpiece idea....
my future hubby and i were brain storming ideas of centerpieces (amazing i know, but he's kinda into the planning!!) and we came up with....
pilsner glasses as vases and of course my flowers are going to gerbera daisies, one white, one pink and one fuschia daisy in each glass. i want silk flowers he wants real, but were doing silk! then we were discussing that we would give each one of the centerpieces to our wedding party as a "gift". i want them to have a personal feel...so should we etch the glass or tie a ribbon around it with our names and the wedding date?? anyone have any good ideas??? |

Wedding Dress
Finally went and tried on some dresses!!
so last saturday i finally got some of my girls together and went dress shopping. what a blast! after searching for hours and hours on line, i picked out my favorite dresses on davidsbridal.com. and finally got to try them on!! soo fun! i received GREAT service and had no problems with them, even though i've heard some not so great things about davids bridal...anyway, i figured out what style of dress looks good, but have not found "THE ONE" yet. i would post pics of me in them but i look terrible!! i do these crazy things with my arms, i have no idea why. but i'll find some decent pics and post them. but here are the 2 i liked best. im going to go look at other bridal shops on the 13th, just to see what else is out there.

Finally found and booked our reception site
for the last month, i did nothing but google search and call to find a reception and ceremony site. i have to admit, i almost gave up and said screw it, lets go to vegas!! my future hubby, finally had to take over (before i went crazy). he's the one who actually found the place!! i love him! every place i had looked at wanted to charge outrageous prices!! and its not like were going "cheap". i just find it unreasonable to charge for things were not using or doing....but its done and over with. we found this great place 30 miles north of where we live. its a brand new building and the owners are awesome and VERY reasonable!! i cant wait to start planning everything else!!! im sooo excited now.

ok so...were going through and putting together a budget and figuring out what is the MOST important and what we want to spend our money on....so my question is : is it worth spending around $2000 -$3000 grand on a professional photographer?

so...i've started this...
already stressing and i've got over a year!
basically i need all the help i can get. i'm planning my/our wedding by myself and really have no clue. i've bought the book "weddings for dummies" , havent read it yet but im hopeful that its going to help this dummy! HA!
- i have picked out my colors, well the bridesmaid dresses and thats about it. they are going to be pewter. check the color out on davidsbridal.com. -oh! i've also picked the kind of flowers i would like to have. gerbera daisies. love these flowers!! -we kind of have ideas for our reception and the ceremony site. it wont be in a church. all subject to change, considering the amount of time i have. so, any ideas where to start...... |
