for the last month, i did nothing but google search and call to find a reception and ceremony site. i have to admit, i almost gave up and said screw it, lets go to vegas!! my future hubby, finally had to take over (before i went crazy). he's the one who actually found the place!! i love him! every place i had looked at wanted to charge outrageous prices!! and its not like were going "cheap". i just find it unreasonable to charge for things were not using or doing....but its done and over with. we found this great place 30 miles north of where we live. its a brand new building and the owners are awesome and VERY reasonable!! i cant wait to start planning everything else!!! im sooo excited now.

ok so...were going through and putting together a budget and figuring out what is the MOST important and what we want to spend our money on....so my question is : is it worth spending around $2000 -$3000 grand on a professional photographer?

basically i need all the help i can get. i'm planning my/our wedding by myself and really have no clue. i've bought the book "weddings for dummies" , havent read it yet but im hopeful that its going to help this dummy! HA!
- i have picked out my colors, well the bridesmaid dresses and thats about it. they are going to be pewter. check the color out on davidsbridal.com.
-oh! i've also picked the kind of flowers i would like to have. gerbera daisies. love these flowers!!
-we kind of have ideas for our reception and the ceremony site. it wont be in a church.
all subject to change, considering the amount of time i have. so, any ideas where to start......
