I have got 2 wedding dresses sitting in my closet for the last 2+ years. It's taking up too much space but I don't want to sell them. Does anyone know a good local (Vancouver, BC) or online wedding dress preservation company? Appreciate your suggestions! Thanks

The banquet at Pan Pacific was amazing.

We were at the Oceanview Suite 5-8, a newly renovated room. I think we're the first couple to use the room. The Catering Manager who helped us was Kelly Single. She's very professional and help throughout the whole planning process. I sent her 1000s of emails and she always responses promptly. If I were to pick again, Pan Pacific would still my top pick! We didn't have to worry about ANYTHING about banquet, Kelly went over all little details with us well before the wedding day and she made everything happened smoothly on the day.

The food was GREAT!! Our menu was:

Appetizer: Ahi Tuna

Soup: French Onion soup

Main Course:
Warm slow roasted translucent BC salmon fennel beurrer blanc OR
Filet of beef tenderloin sour wine cherry infused red wine sauce

Dessert Buffet (the setup was beautiful!!!!)

My mom bought this traditional chinese wedding gown from China. The gold plate is a gift my grandma gave my mom on her wedding and my mom passed it to me, a very very very special item.

I absolutely LOVE my wedding flowers.....It's done by one of the best florists in town, Doris Lee from Simply Sweet Floral Design (http://www.simplysweet.ca)

My beautiful bouquet has:

* Black bacara roses
* Black mini calla lilies
* Chocolate cosmo... (my favorite flower, it actually smells like chocolate...!!)

Tina Graham was my photographer. She took us to some of the very special locations in Greater Vancouver: Gastown, downtown, UBC and Burrard Bridge.

I actually had to walk on to the center of the burrard bridge with my gown on at 3pm on a firework day. I still couldn't believe she could take shots of Vicar and I on the bridge WITHOUT cars behind us.

These pictures I posted are taken by a friend of mine (Fion) who accompanied me on the day. She actually did a pretty nice job considering she only used a point-and-shot DC. I will post more photos by Tina in later post... coz I have to scan them... we insisted on using analogue film coz it seems more "real". Haha.... just personal preference, honestly, you can't really tell just by looking.

That's it...we're chosen the church for our ceremony.

I ended up chose a gown that looks very similar to Justina McCaffrey's "Magnificate" to walk down the aisle and choosing a one of Cymbeline Paris' dress as my evening gown.

These are the most expensive dresses I've tried on, they range from $2500-$6500.
