It's in the making...tube under $1.00
So this is what I put together last night, late night. I seem to think my best at nigh. Ironic huh? Soooo, I spray painted the tubes and ended up not liking it. After several tries and looking through my "craft room". I found 10 rolls of tulle, I bought for $1.00 at the christmas tree shop thinking I'd use it for the arch, but I'm not longer doing that...soooo I put it to use. Question is, will the tulle be enough for all the invitations. I have to make 125 invitations. Hmmmm. I went today, and there wasn't anymore. I could kick myself right now, but how could i have possibly know i would use them for my scroll invitations??
It's gorgeous and the tube itself was probably under $1.00. Since I only use alittle of the tulle, the tubes was bought for .70 or so at paper mart and ends to it. was like .05 cents or so. Sooo cheap.I then found the chinese rice paper/calligraphy paper they use for chinese calligraphy and I'm turning that into my scroll. I'm thinking I need to get nice notecards to print on and using the photo corner stickers to stick it to the rice paper. For now, the tube rough draft is done. I feel like it needs something. Maybe I'll rework the ribbon. What do you think? Any suggestions?? I wanted the ends to be brown...but so far so good.
