I need help finding a song about someone looking over us and being happy? My grandfather passed away not long ago and he was very very important to me and to the wedding. He was going to marry us and it kills me that he will not be there.. If anyone can help me with a song I would be forever grateful.

Red rose Ball
Where can I get red rose balls for no more than $10 each. I went to oriental trading company and found the perfect ones but of course with my luck, they are out of order and my wedding is in 10 weeks! Yikes, Everything else is coming into place but I forgot about ordering these which I should have done months ago when I first saw them! Any suggestions would be good like an etsy seller that is not outrageous in price.

Vistprint Postcard RSVP
Right after I ordered my STDs, I was offered 100 free postcards so I decided to go for it. I only had to pay for s&h for $6! I am so excited because postage is half the price on postcards as opposed to normal envelopes. It would have cost more for the paper to make the rsvps anyways. I think we made out very good.. Let me know what you think?!?

We finally took our engagement pictures and I love them so much. Our photographer is my sister's friend and I was skeptical but she did great I think. I was so happy with them that I already ordered my STDs(they're magnets, which was my only requirement) and gosh I'm just so excited that its moving along. I can't wait.. Its less than 6 months now so I gotta get to my DIYs. Tell me what you think!!

So about 8 years ago, my sister got married and my grandma helped her with a bunch of things. She made programs and the invitations and everything, she also made her cake. Anyways, my grandma also made programs for my cousins wedding about 2 years ago and they were fans so I kind of wanted to so something similar to that and they were inspired by one of the ladies on here but it was so long ago I am sorry I forgot who it was. They are faved so I will try to find them.. I "fav" everything I like so I have so many to go through!
Anyways, please let me know what you think, this is our first draft and it also will have a stick to hold at the bottom. If there are anythings you would change let me know! |

Pomanders
We also started on the pomanders. I am not sure if I should continue to put time into them and have them not look perfect or should I just buy them from oriental trading company for only about $7 each. They end up being about $5 each when I do them myself. Let me know what you think. I would trade out the red ribbon on the oriental trading ones to a black ribbon to hang along the isle runner on the shepherd hooks.
I have all these wonderful ideas that I think will make my wedding look perfect but I am worried that my ideas in my head look better than what my wedding will actually look like. Does anyone else worry about that. Everything I am doing is on a budget and I want it to look like a million bucks and still be proud of how savvy we were with our money. |

Bridesmaids
The dresses!
So tomorrow is 200 days till I get to become a Mrs!! I am more than excited! I have officially finalized the maid of honor and bridesmaids dresses. All of these are a little different but still close enough alike to look great!
Question?? I originally wanted them to have different dresses and matching shoes, I want all the dresses and shoes to be black with big red roses in their hair. Should I have red shoes as well or does the all black help the red rose stand out? |

Magnet STDs
I am about 7 months out from my wedding and I need to get on it asap. My father has come around to help which is perfect timing because my FMIL is wanting to escape from all her duties that she said she was going to help with leaving us high and dry.
I designed some save the dates but they seem to simple and I would love to have like one of the lines as a border be red or something just to pop. Also we were supposed to be doing our engagement session tomorrow but since my FMIL was supposed to be paying for that, we had to postpone it and hopefully we get them done in time to send out the STDs. They are magnets which I love! They are from vistaprint.com and I believe they are 5.4"x4.2" for $0.50/each. Which I thought was a really good price.. If anyone knows of a cheaper place please let me know. I was actually going to buy huge amounts of magnet and make my STDs myself. Any advice would be appreciated! Tell me what you think?? |
