Modern Twist on Pearl Necklaces

So I ran across this set the other day while going thru my Avon catalog. And I just love it. I must admit some of the jewelry from Avon has the chance of being cheezy, but this caught my eye.
And if it wasn't for the fact that I just saw the previews of my own necklace that I'm having custom made thru an etsy.com vendor, for $40 dollars (yep that's it), I would probably buy this one.

I also bought another set on Avon that came in the mail a few weeks ago that I liked and snagged it for $9 bucks (reg. $24.99). The pearls and overall look was nice, but don't think it goes well with my dress and the style I'm trying to create. But I like the overall look of it and will ad it to my collection of fun jewely and am sure I'll wear it.

I also bought the matching bracelet ($9.99 on sale) and might wear it for the wedding, but am not sure yet.
