My Custom Made Neckpiece (Part Two)

It's here!!!! Just arrived in the mail today. I was so excited and couldn’t wait to try it on, so I ran to the mirror to check it out!

OK, at first I was a little disappointed because I couldn’t figure out how to untangle the pearls so they would lay flat – the dork in me is showing. But after a few minutes of fiddling I managed to get it on correctly and am extremely satisfied!

However, I didn’t realize how heavy it would be. This piece is very solid. I usually where dainty necklaces with a charm or costume jewelry, nothing like this. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to wear it all night, but I’m sure gonna try. Atleast until I make my wardrobe change.

The only downer is that after I got back to my desk I realized that one of the crystals had fallen out of the brooch ?. But it’s understandable because it’s a true vintage piece and I have no idea how old it is. However, it still shines like new! A few of the crystals have a yellowish tint, which makes me love it even more. Not a bad find for $17 on etsy.com !

Delicate Creations by M on etsy put the necklace together and did a phenominal job!!!!!!!

Any vintage efficienatos know if a simple act of crafters glue will be ok to hold the crystal in place. If not, what else might work?
