2 AM was when I finally completed this project! Whew - I'm so glad it's done, now I can stop waking up thinking about it. I'm happy with the way it turned out.
I redid the arrangement and used a new foam ball, but could have used the old one. It was very messy to take all the stems out. I used a towel to roll them all on and get all the foam off them. However, I didn't add tall thy hydrangea like I did the first time. And I wish I did because there was a few places where I had to go back and squeeze it in. But since this was my second try I was a bit more comfortable adjusting the brooches and used a small piece of floral wire to get in there an lay each leaf down where I wanted it to go.
I opted to use hygrandea at the bottom as well and not the pink peonies I ordered from Afloral. The color wasn't the best match and the flower were a bit too big to create the look I was after.
What I may redo is the ribbon beneath the arrangement. I just hot glued a circle of pink ribbon around the bottom to keep the foam from showing, but I may go back in a create a nice ruffle effect, when it's not 2AM - lol.
Overall I'm very pleased with the outcome!
