A friend from church makes beautiful and simple wedding cakes. So I asked her if she could make one for us and incorporate cupcakes into the cake because once I found out that it would cost just a much to have cupcakes verses a whole cake. I gave her a sample of the color and she matched it "Spot On" and did a phenominal job. And we couldn't have been happier because I wanted to mix traditional and modern. This cake was truly a combination of both!

The flavors were as follows:
Top - chocolate with raspberry filling
Center - Lemon
Bottom - Red velvet
Cupcakes - Vanilla
Funny, but the only cake we ate that night was that tiny piece we cut so we could feed one another. We did get the top to tier to ourselves once we got back from the honeymoon.
My hubby is so helpful, there he was making sure I didn't drop the cake on the tablecloth. He knew I was going to sell them ;) If he could give birth to the babies, he'd be perfection - lol. He cooks, cleans, does all the yardwork and fixes the cars. I LOVE HIM!
