Our 3 Month Anniversary Needs Something Special

Its been 3 months to the day that I married my soul mate! I can't believe it! Time seems to be flying by with work, kids and life's every day tasks. And you know what, we didn't do anything special for the first or second month. So I think that this month deserves something special. I'm not quite sure what. I'll have to check my Groupons to see what I've got up my sleeve. We're on a super tight budget with the kids going back to school and still recovering from the wedding so it will have to be something small, but special and cookie related - the man loves his cookies.
I'm all about making traditions and I don't want us to loose focus on our relationship. So I figure now is a good a time as any to start doing something special just for us. Even if it's just a small gesture to show him how much I love and appreciate everything he does for me and our family.
Does anyone else have any suggestions or traditions of your own that keeps you and your FH/hubby going strong?

So when I got home I didn't feel too hot. But I did manage to make him this little platter of cookies (below) with extras leftover from our board meeting at work and fruit from the fridge. I also cut up a few flowers that we had left over from the wedding and made a heart and put in on the bed. It had been part of my original plan to make him cookies, but since he cooked dinner that night and I wasn't at 100%, I'm so glad I grabbed them from the office.

Not pictured are the 20+ tealight candles I put up all over our bedroom - also a wedding leftover. They are were mostly s'mores scented. I also had 2 chocolate scented ones from our bathroom(all from Bath & Body Works). My hubby later told me that when he came in from his post-dinner run, he thought he smelled cookies baking - LOL.

When he came in the room, his jaw dropped. I was laying on the bed with his favorite song playing on my iPhone "Our Anniversary" by Tony Toni Tone. He was completely surprised. He thought I had gone to bed early. The next day he sent me a text saying that I made him feel so special. So I guess my plan worked :)
