My hard work is paying off!
I've been trying to perfect my art of making my own silk flowers for my brooch bouquets. I think I've got a winner. After a few trials and error runs, a few burnt fingers and almost burning my house down (according to my daughter) I found a method that produces very life-like peonies that won't fray at the end like most silk flowers tend to do after being handled a few times. Now I've got to add all the finishing touches before the bridal fashion shoot it's going to this weekend.
I've also experimented with making the flowers in purple. I'll be sure to post pictures when I'm done.
