Wedding Cake
Damask Cupcake Tower

We wanted something different for our wedding so we decided on Cupcakes. My husband made this for the wedding.

It turned out perfect!! He made the Tower out of wood and I decorated it. The topper has our initials decorated in the same Damask print as the tower.

It comes apart in pieces and now sits in our garage. Anybody in AZ want to rent or buy it let us know!!! (we could possibly ship it but its heavy so may cost you alot just for the shipping)




Update:
Well the tower sold in what seems to be record timing. I did not realize how popular it was going to be. We even have an offer for a new custom tower. My husband wanted to put his new tools to work so it looks like he is in the business to make a few more....

Wow! That's awesome!
I'm doing cupcakes as well, but I wasn't going to use a tower, just risers of different heights on the table...but this looks pretty cool!  I may have to enlist my FH to start desiging something!

OMG I LOVE this!!!! My dad does a lot of stuff out of wood as well and I am sure he could make this if he knew how. Do you know how your husband did it and what did you use to wrap the wood in damask....is it wrapping paper or fabric? Thanks and that is sooooo cute!!

It wrapping paper with a coting of modg podge to keep it from taring easily...

How hard was this, really, for your husband to make?? My dad is fairly handy, so I wonder if it's make-able by him?  This is exactly the type of presentation that I want for my cupcakes, and no one in NL has it!!!

He said ,they are not hard but not easy either (whatever that means). A friend of ours is getting married in April and he is making one that matches the Tiffany Blue Boxes. I will post pictures when he is done...

Dear jaxn4ever, I am a senior nursing student in CT. We are having a pinning reception on May 22. We have had a donation of 450 cucakes.... and nothing to put them on!!!!!  HELP.  Could you please send exact measurements and info for my dad to build one of these (or two) for us..... we have had to put this party together ourselves with no budget!!!   I know he can do it if he had  exact instructions, measurments, and a shopping list.  Thank you so much.  Leah
