This is my first blog, but I had today off from work and went to my 3rd David's Bridal appointment today with one of my bridesmaids! Excuse the poor quality of the photos. Pretty bad since I'm a photographer, but I didn't want to bring the big honkin camera in with me, so my phone's camera had to do.
I tried a dress on last time that I loved. I went out of town and have tried on several dresses from several boutiques but when I put this dress on, I just KNEW! I know it sounds corny, but I think I love it as much as I love my fiance'. Luckily, it happens to be one of the cheapest dresses that I've tried on which is fabulous since we're on a very tight budget. It's very simplistic, so I know it'll give me plenty of opportunities to dress it up with the veil and accessories. It's very light weight and very slimming. I love it!
I'm in the process of loosing weight (have lost around 15 lbs in 2 months!), so I'm holding off for several months to buy it but I'm just so happy that I have found my dress!
Now I just have to worry about what everyone else is wearing in the wedding party. At least my bridesmaid and I have narrowed our selection down. I'm just waiting on input from my other girls. Yes, that's right...I'm letting them help in the decision. I'm in Kansas. 1 of my bridesmaids is in Chicago, 1 in Tennessee, 1 about an hour away, and only one that lives in the same town as me. Go me! This may be a little difficult. Especially with as indecisive I am.
