This is a Flowrgirl basket I found on ebay. I really like it! I'm not sure if I'm going to go with this one or not, yet. So hard to decide!! ah!

We decided we both liked the Sand Unity Ceremony better then doing Unity Candles.

1. Some locations don't allow candles. We have actually found this location that doesn't allow candles because it's a safety issue and goes against their fire code.

2. We like the Sand Unity Ceremony better because it's very unique fun, and also says something very strong about the joining of families and of Daniel and I together. :)

I decided that I really want my hair half up, half down. Daniel really loves long hair and I didn't want it all the way down for it to get in the way on my big day!

I got engaged on August 14th, 2007. I have recently moved to Texas 4 months ago.


How he proposed to me...

He came to visit me for a couple of day from TN at my old house(Georgia) to spend some time with me and he and I were going to go to dinner and a movie one night but, we skipped out on the movie because I had to get up early the next morning for work. We grabbed some dinner and went back to my house to hang out together a little before I had to go to bed. I told him I'd like to be in bed by 10pm so, I decided to put my Pajamas on and he did went upstairs to the room he was staying in while visiting me and did the same. He came back down stairs to tell me goodnight and he told me he had a surprise for me and he wanted me to go sit on my bed and get under the covers. He pulls out this book he had made for me and told me he wanted to read me a bed time story. ( How cute is that??)

He made this book for me online (www.picaboo.com) and I was a princess and he was a prince. He had this planned for 6 months and bought the ring 6 months before hand as well. He had his immediate family come from TN that day and they all walked in the room as he got closer to the end of the book when he handed the book over to his mom, who read the rest of the story out loud and when it got to him asking me to marry me, he got down on one knee on the bed and he said, " Princess Jenn, will you marry me?"

I am not going to post my dress, unfortunately because my Groom to be will probably see this blog...;) He's sneaky!

However, I've posted pictures of the gloves I've found that I like and Shoe styles as well. I would like to have a pair of heels for the Ceremony and maybe change into some pretty white slippers for the reception. I want to be as comfortable as I can!:P

I have known all along what I wanted in mind for my wedding but, I found this picture and it pretty much summed up pretty much the whole picture for me. It's nice to actually see something like this that can bring everything together visually for you.

The Wish Tree: I want to have a little wish tree where the guest can leave us notes, advices, tips for us. They can give us advice on our new marriage together! I am going to make the littles notes and they are going to be left on a plate, or in a cute little basket for them to sign and hang on the tree.

The Altar backdrop: The location we have in mind for our big day already has a little stage area so, if we do decide to do something like this, then we would just make the piece standing up. The middle of this altar has fabric on it and behind it it has little tree branches standing up with Tea light candles between each tree branch.

Table Top Water Fountain: I've always wanted to have some sort of Water Fountain at my wedding. I know that I can't fit a big water fountain indoors for a cheap price so, I decided I want to purchase a couple of Table Top water fountains or borrow them from relatives or friends. Some of them will probably be on the floor and some with be on various tables around the room for that peaceful, elegant and Garden like addition to our theme and wedding day.

Pre-built Enchanted Garden additions: My FMIL gave me the idea of having pre-built things made out of wood to go with our theme. Like pre-built sets and a little bridge. I thought that was such a great idea because it would make it really feel like we were in a enchanting garden. It's going to feel like we are outside in a magical, secret garden! I want to have things made out of wood and painted black and covered with Ivey and some white lights or flame less candles.

These are just some of the Ideas for Favors that I have. Daniel and I both love Coffee and each time we can make a Starbucks run, we go for it!;)

Have any idea for low carb finger foods or Sugar free desserts??


I don't think I want a catered reception. I think Daniel and I will just have our cakes, the chocolate Fondue fountain,Strawberries, other kinds of fruits, crackers, cheese, pretzels and little finger foods.

Most of the food is going to be low carb and sugar free. There are quite a few people in my family that are on certain diets and my cousin who is 2 is diabetic and has to really watch what she eats.


I am not going to put My Groom to be's cake on here because, I'm surprising him with it. Like I said about why I'm not putting my dress picture on here, he's too sneaky!;) hehe!

I liked the Way these Invitations looked. They are not the deffinate ones I'm going with, though.

I'm going to use decorative birdcages like this black one and decorate them with Ivy, to put Flame less candles in.

I wanted my bridesmaids and my Maid of Honor to have black elegant simple dresses that they could wear again and that weren't to formal. I'm going to get some Gold fabric or sashes to go around the dresses.

I have always known that I wanted really dark red roses when I got married and when I was searching on the internet(oh what a great thing!) I found these Black Magic Roses. They so fit our theme and our whole picture in mind of what we want our wedding to be. It's going to be so romantic, so elegant and classy!

Where can I find these for cheap? I had thought about not getting flowers from a florist because they add up to be really expensive. I was thinking of maybe If I could find them at a market or a little shop or something.
