Ask a Question
Trash the Dress?? Not destroy the dress, lets just have a little fun in the dress!!!
So i am really getting on to this idea of trash the dress the more i hear and read about it..... at first i was like why they hell would you want to destroy your dress after you paid so much for it. but then i read a little further to find out there are so many ways to do trash the dress from running through a feild to lighting your dress on fire.
I really love the idea of laying on the grass, running through the field, leaning on a rail fence, heck even sit on a not moving ATV for the pictures. I think this photo session would be memories of a lifetime(other than your wedding that is)

Lets face it ladies, what is the difference if you get chocolate cake on your dress and have to get it cleaned or getting grass stains on it.... either way you will be getting it cleaned after the wedding... so why not have a little fun, wether it be on the lower side or completely outrageous!!!

******If you read this post i would love to hear what you think of Trash the dress and if its for you...........

I really like the idea!! But I think I want to get in the water with my dress!!  Its not like i'm going to wear it ever again....pictures would be better than a dress in a box in my closet.

I did a post on sell consignment, storage or donate.

I still have not decided but I think that I may donate my dresses as many women are uanbale to buy the dress of their dreams and just maybe someone could have a dream come true.

So trash is NOT an option for me.

I fell in love with this idea the first time I saw it! My parents have a beautiful creek behind their house and I'm doing it there.

Carissa Thank you for the message on the water bottles....

In the other hand, the first time I saw about trashing the dress thing was on you post; I liked it and read a little bit more abt it.....I even consider it and then I talked with my FH....I told him it was kind of a demostration I would not get married again any other men (and at that point he liked it; he actually loved the idea) He told me great we are going into the water (as we are getting maried @ beach).....So I personally think; I will do it

I felt the exact same way as you until I did a little research. So we've decided to do it! I won't be wearing my wedding dress though, just something similar. And we're doing it during our honeymoon, on the beach and in the water. I'm so excited about it!

Maybe I should also add that I'm not buying an actual wedding dress. My dresses will be handmade but cost less than half of what a "real" wedding dress would be. I planned on keeping it anyways.

I love it... I am going to be trashing mine! I think I am going to go to the state fair and ride some rides or swim in a lake!
