Ask a Question
Is there any other brides driving their other half crazy?
So Jeff has been telling me that i talk, and think about the wedding way to much. And he doesnt think its normal. He tells me that i just need to relax and think about something else for just a day, but i just cant. From the moment i wake up, to the moment i lay my head down for bed, and even in my dreams i am thinking about the wedding and new ideas that will make it unique and my dream come true. I just wanted to know is there are any other brides out there that are driving their spouses to want to cancel the wedding, just so you will talk about something eles??? but i know i just cant help it, I have been dreaming of this day my whole life, and i cant understand how he hasnt been doing the same thing. I donno maybe i am just a little wedding crazy, but who can blame me its just so much fun!

Ha ha, ya... I really do think about my wedding every morning and I think about it at night to get me to sleep. But as much as I might drive myself crazy or even if my fiance thinks I am nuts, I love doing it! Your definitely not alone.

You are definitely not alone!   I can't help but think about every element of our wedding!  I love it!  I love the planning & he hates planning anything!  Even planning trips.  He is more spontaneous.  If it were up to him, we would have eloped 3 yrs ago.   Wedding talk makes his face turn up like somebody passed gas.  So...Ive learned to space out the important details & keep the nit pick stuff to myself & my girls.
BTW, he is just like Jeff....hates pics!

the only time i talk to my fiance about the wedding is when i come up with something outrageous and i want to make sure he does not absolutely hate it... otherwise he could care less... he just wants to get married and have an open bar- go figure
oh yea, i forgot and that the open bar has captain morgan! ahhhh

Toby's said the same thing... I actually just went a week without mentioning ANYTHING wedding to him, then Friday night I wanted to talk to him about a new idea I had, and that got the ball rolling... I couldn't stop!

I try to do what gratefulbride does... space out the important things so as not to bombard him, and leave all the little details up to talking to my girlfriends/mom.  If it were up to him, we'd march down to the courthouse right now and tie the knot!
