Invitations
Good Greif!!
Well, They are finished!!!!
Today is exactly 2 months and I have been working on these invites for a very long time, so I am very happy to have them done! They should've probably been in the mail today, but I was very frustrated yesterday with my printer, and after about a billion trips to staples it is now working again and I am just finishing them up! I think mailing them one day late won't be too huge of a deal :) I thought I was going to be so excited to finally get them done, but now I have this weird pit feeling in my stomach about mailing them! Who would have thought that just thinking about mailing the invites would make my stomach churn! |

I can't believe it!!
The days just keep moving closer!!!
OMG!! Ladies I am having a nervous breakdown this morning!
My to do list just keeps on going, and it seems like every other week I have a new list of stuff to get done!! We only have 10 WEEKS til the wedding!! I do have Fridays off, so I get a lot of my wedding list done on those days, but my goodness, it feels like the last few weekends have been crazy!! We just run around like chickens with our heads cut off! Last weekend we got a lot of stuff done off our list, but there is still so much more to do!! Also!! I just realized that my shower invites haven't been sent out yet and the shower is on March 14th!! Thats 2 weeks away! So, I call my friend that is suppose to be getting the shower together and getting the invites out and do you know what she said to me....... "Don't worry about it, they will be out by saturday!!" DON"T WORRY!!!! My shower is in 2 weeks and no one has invites yet!!! I think they should have been sent out by now! I make plans 2 weeks in advance sometimes! I don't know, I guess I just needed to vent because I am actually starting to feel better! Well, at least I don't feel like puking right now, and thats a plus!!! :) Thanks girls for listening and for all your help through out the past few months!! |

Our Guys!!
I love being able to cross another thing off our list!!!
Yay girls!!
We finally picked out what the guys will be wearing!! I have been stressing about this for quite some time now! I didn't know what I wanted but I knew I didn't want Tuxes! We ended up finding a great tan suit that both Jeff and I feel in love with! I'm glad he liked them too, because he can be so picky on some stuff (And usually its dumb stuff that he throws his fits about!) We found them at Jims Formal Wear they are the Alfresco Suits and they were only $100 to rent!! I thought that was a great deal, because a lot of places charge you for a full tux whether you have the full get up or not!! We decided to have different colored ties for the different guys. They will all have the same design on the ties, but the colors will be different, Except for Jeff he will be in a striped green! And the rest of the guys will be in a polka dot designed tie :) The groomsmen will be in the green polka dot ties The ushers will be in the pink polka dot ties The dads will be in the polka dot ties too, but in white! I also have the ringbearer in pink, but he is not wearing a tie he will be in a bowtie!! He is going to look sooo CUTE!!! |

Our Flower Girl
I found her dress!
I am very excited! I have been so worried about finding
her dress! It has been a battle, she's nine and most flower girl dresses are not made for nine year olds, they are more for three and four year olds. I was talking with some friends over the weekend and I was telling them that I was thinking of just trying to find her a cute sundress to wear for the wedding and they all thought that was a great idea so I started looking! Our niece is in love with the store Justice for Girls and they just opened up a new store here in our town! I went to look yesterday and I found the cutest dress and it will be perfect for our wedding! I also found her jewelry and shoes and a couple cute presents for standing up. I am so happy to beable to cross that off my list! If any of you pink brides are looking for a cute white dress with a pink sachet you can check it out on www.shopjustice.com For all you other colored brides I was also thinking you could just buy a different color sachet for the dress and it would look just as cute!! Here are some pics....... Have a great day ladies!!!! |

Ask a Question
Bridal Shower
I tried posting this earlier this morning and when I went
to check if anyone commented my post was gone?!? How does that happen? How does your posts get deleted anyways here is my post :) Hi ladies, I was wanting all of your opinions on this! I live cross country from all of my family and a lot of friends. My family and friends are wanting me to come home for my bridal shower, so everyone can see me and for those who are unable to make it to the wedding, they can see me too. Well, my sister and a great friend of mine are starting to plan the shower and we have been talking about having a Coin Shower, ONLY because I live 5 states away and I won't bebale to drive because with the wedding this year I just can't take off anymore extra time from work. We have been doing some research on it and we have heard a lot of good things about it and a lot of bad things about it. People tend to be annoyed and may even not show up, when asked for money. I guess I don't know what else to do, because I can't fly all of the presents home. We have even talked about putting a cute poem on the invites that just say I live so far away and its hard to get presents home if you want to give coins its greatly appreciated or just come and hang out and don't feel obligated to bring presents or coins just come spend the day with us! What do you ladies all think? Or do any of you have any other ideas we could use instead of a coin shower. Jeff and I actually lived on our own before we met, so when we moved in together we had doubles of a lot of things and really when it comes down to it, we really don't need a whole lot of stuff. I think I would prefer to just have people come and hang out than feel stressed about having to bring a present or money. |

Our Entertainment!
I finally have it all booked!!
Girls!
I am so excited, I had such a hard time finding a perfect company to rent from and I finally found them!! I was getting so bummed out that I wouldn't beable to find a company that was close enough to us to rent from! But...... I found one down in denver and they will travel up to Loveland for our wedding! Here is the website if any of you girls live in the area and want to check them out! http://www.flatironphotobooth.com/ The owner has been very helpful with all of my needs (I can be kind of needy) They also have a guestbook table with the photobooth and it will print out 2 photos and one is a favor for the guest and the other one is for the guests to use to make a page in our guestbook!! I am just so excited!! You can all probably tell! The photobooth is the one thing that NO ONE can mess with! I have had a lot of unsolicited advice while planning this wedding and most of it I have been just rolling with and letting others have there way, but not with this! This is mine!! And if anyone says anything about it they are not getting an invitation :) |

Almost there!!
41 pounds GONE!!
Yay! I got on the scale today and I am now done 41 pounds!
I am so excited! I tried on my dress yesterday and you can tell that it is fitting much better! I was one of those crazy brides that bought the dress a couple sizes smaller :) When I lost my mom a couple years ago, I quit my job and just laid around for a whole year! I really let myself go and I am just so glad that I am able to get back into the swing of things! I am finally starting to feel good about myself again and it is a great feeling! I still would like to lose another 22 pounds before the wedding I have about 14 weeks before the wedding, so hopefully I'll make it there! |

And Here We GO!
How Do I handle this?!?!
Ok, I'm a little annoyed with my soon to be mother in law!
Here is a little background: A few months ago I had discovered there was going to be a full moon on the night of our wedding. FH and I thought it would be so cool to have a moonlight ceremony, so we start to plan a wedding around the idea of having a late ceremony. We were thinking it would be great if we had the ceremony around 8 and then have appetizers and dessert for food at the reception. I have been so excited about this, I talked with a cater and she made up a really great menu for some appetizers and a desserts. I love the idea, gave her a deposit. That was almost 2 months ago!!! FH's family was all in town for the holidays and there was lots talking about the wedding and what our plans were, so I was telling everybody about our ceremony and the food plans. Well, FH's mother got mad at me and stopped talking to me for the rest of CHRISTMAS DAY!!! She ended up calling me the next day and said that we needed to talk. She said that she feels she is also a host of this wedding and that she thinks people will expect to fed and that we need to have dinner served!! Then at the end of the conversation she says, I will stand by you in whatever you decide but I think you need to serve dinner! Ok ladies! I have never had a disagreement with my soon to be MIL! I don't know what to do, I really don't want to have dinner served, and most people i've talked with about this thought it was a really neat idea to have appetizers and desserts. She also said "your going to want people to hang out and not just show up for cake and leave." Now why in the heck does she think just because we are not planning on serving dinner, people aren't going to hang out! I just feel so backed in a corner. I don't want to fight with her, there is no reason too! I'll have the stupid dinner if thats what she wants, because I just don't care enough to argue with her, BUT I upsets me that I was so excited to have my own day and my own touches on my wedding that make it different, And she waited until 4 months before the wedding, to tell me that she wants to have a dinner! |

Almost 30 Pounds
Yay!!
GIrls!!!
I got on the scale today and I've lost 27.4 pounds! I am so excited!! My hubby to be isn't doing as well as I am, but then again he doesn't have to be a Bride in a Wedding Dress :) I have been so good sticking to my "new lifestyle change" I've been working out almost daily and I've been making better choices with the foods I am eating! Its just so nice to see the hard work paying off |
