MY BIG DAY IS TOMMOROW!
My last miss day as a miss
Oh my! my heart is racing right now. My wedding is tommorow. My parents arrived yesterday in the morning and we had the rehearsal and rehersal diner last night. all of my craft are done, my emergency kit is ready, all the vendors have been contact with the final details. i just need to put all my stuff together to bring with me at the hotel tonight. im staying at the same hotel than our out of town guests and my parents so i dont see my groom in the morning tommorow. i am counting on pampering and going to the gym and pool of the hotel this evening and tommorow morning. Our photographer will be there at 2pm for the getting ready pictures and we will be leaving at 4 to meet at 4:30, close to our ceremony location to do our first look. I'm really exited and happy that i am finally marrying the man of my life. I realize this week, that even if I plan the wedding perfectly from a to z , things out of your control happen (like a florist how did not order any of the flower you ask for, just saying...) ONLY one thing is certain to be perfect on the wedding day , getting married to my man. Isn't the point anyway of all this big planning and dreaming. It was mine, and I'm so proud to know that i am getting married to Taylan, that I will be his wife, support, lover and more, for the rest of our life. See you on the other side ladies xox

DIY Wedding
Everything is coming together, 8 days to go
Our big day is really fast aproching. My in laws are already here coming from another province and my parents and my brother are arriving on Friday, coming as well from another province,it is the same day as the rehersal and rehersal dinner but we will manage it.
As for all my diy projects they are mostly done but still have some to do. On the picture you can see some of my project: Picture 1 and 2 is our centerpieces picture 3 is one of the bathroom basket with a sign for it picture 4 is our card box Picture 5 is one of the pick your own seat (we are not having a seating plan) Picture 6 is the sign for the photobooth (wedding chick template) Picture 7 is the reserved sign for family at the ceremony Picture 8 is our menu (wedding chick template) and Picture 9 is our fill the blank notes (martha stewart template) Now with 8 days to go I have to complete: - Paper chain for the sweet table background (about 3 hours) - tear sof joy package (about 45 minutes) -finish to tie little ribbons to all the masons jar for our centerpieces and place paper flower in bundle (3 hours) - make a sign for the dj table (30 min) - the programs are print but i need to fold them and add little ribbons to them (1h30) - make a love story with the main date in of our story (1hour) - print the picture that will decorate the stairs and assemble (2 hours) - decorate a mason jars for the paper straw (20 min) -finish writing my speech (I dont know why but this seem so complicated has we did the whole planning ourself, But im sure inspiration will come soon) On top of the wedding going on this month, as you probably know I had been dismiss at my job last moth for no real reason. So currently I am working at a temporary job as fashion consultant, I am working until wednesday so i will have 3 days plus this sunday to complete everything for the big day. I dont want to be so exhausted for the wedding but I think I can manage to finish evrything on time, if not well at least the main things are done (expect my speech , that is a man thing), our parents are coming and we have our wedding license and 2 withness so no matters what, it is really true, I a little bit more than a week a will be a married woman. I will be his wife, Mrs Polat! :) After that I will be stating a new permanent job. I got hired yesterday to be the main chef in a french school. It is really my dream job. being close to the kids, cooking and in a french environment, with a good schedule, weekend off, good income and more benefits. I think it will be the perfect job to start to rest of my life. I am so exited for the wedding (and this new job coming). More to come soon... xox |

We receive the rest of our engagement pictures! We are in love with them, really really happy how they turn out. With only 20 days to go, and still lots of stuff to do I am in 110% wedding planning mode. We also decide on hiring a wedding coordinator for the day of, just to make sure that we can stay calm as much as possible the day of. It was hard to find someone that offer good service at a good price but after talking to lots of people we finally find the right person, we are meeting with her tommorow to give her all the details. Time for me to go back to my wedding crafting!

A free-Spirit Modern style wedding. White is our main color with pop of neon color everywhere. After changing our plan about a dozen of time... Our wedding is happening in 2 months from now!!! We have never been so exited and in love. Life is beautiful!! xox
