I can not wait to move!!!! I going to live in suburban area of the greater Tontonto next month! I am so happy that we wil be close to this city. Now my option are only limited by my budget because I know that over there they have all the option imaginable for the wedding. So brides who actully live over there can you let my know about your favorite places, not only for the wedding but also for weekend trip activities. Thanks a lot!
- Queen's Quay (shops, coffee shops and restaurants by the lake)
- Distillery District (cobbelstone streets with small art studios, shops, lounges, bars, yummy gelato and a chocolate factory)
- High Park (great for picnics and walks)
- Bloor West Village (love the shops)
For a wedding there are so many options....it highly depends on how many guests you are planning on having, and your budget.
- the CN tower is nice (great restaurant there, a bit pricey though)
- casa loma is also nice to visit (wedding possibility too)
- the beaches .... great restaurants, shops and the boardwalk is a great place to go for a stroll
So what suburban area are you moving to? I'd love to arrange a get together with all the Toronto area brides. I've seen others on WBC (usually in the States) do it. It seems like it'd be so much fun
Cant forget Center Island great for couples and family
Harbour Front they have so many festivals every summer
if you are looking into bridal shops Queen and spadina is where its at,
you also have eatons center for alot more shopping
The ROM great museum along with the Bata shoe museum
Nathan Philip square( city hall) oh and the list goes on so much to see and do here cant ever get bored, im sure you'll get more from other ladies on here to add to your list
we should all exchange emails and go from there!!!

Weekends - Distillery District is amazing, I love Liberty Village (King St. W. ) shopping and people watching on Queen St. W., High Park for a walk is beautiful, Harbourfront is great - very picturesque by the water - great in the summer and for pics, some cool bridges, etc. there, I like the Yonge/Eglinton area - shopping, eating, CUPCAKE SHOPPE (DELISH!). Toronto has lots to do. I would sign up for emails on sweetlife.ca - and sign up for the Toronto newsletter, will tell you every week what's happening. It's awesome!
I agree that all the Toronto area brides should meet up, it would be awesome!!! We could all go out for dinner and take in some of the good weather while it lasts! Good luck and welcome to Canada!!!
