Deleting account!
I've had enough!
Well ladies, I'm just going to delete this account and start from scratch. I was told that I had to wait 3 weeks for the problems to be fixed...it's been well over that. So, I've decided to just delete this account and start fresh!

Wedding day survival kit!
A must have!
WOW!! I'm so excited about these survival kits! I sooooooooo want to buy each and every one of them. I came across these while searching though numerous websites for centerpieces with orchids! They are full of all of the things that a bride could possibly need during her big day. They also carry kits for the bridesmaids and also for the groom! Check out the website!

The church...IS A NO-GO!!!
STRESSINGGGGGGGGGG....
Well, ran into a dilemma with the church that we had picked out. Actually, not A dilemma but MANY dilemmas!!! Me and one of my bridesmaids sat down to go through the list of 'rules' that this church had in store for us. Well, basically...here's what me and my FH are mad about...I'll take it straight from the book for you so you can gasp and urg like me lol... here is the first question in the book that made me angry!

Q- Is it true that the church doesn't recommend that the bride's father give her away?

A- Yes, it's true. You and your spouse give yourselves to each other. No one is property to be "given away". While the "giving away the bride" has been part of the wedding liturgy in other churches, it is not part of the Catholic wedding rite.

In a Catholic wedding, the two of you, preceded by your wedding party and the priest, walk down the aisle together, after the priest has greeted you at the door of the church. Your place in the procession is the traditional place for the ministers of the sacrament. (You can choose to be accompanied by your parents, although with some blended families, this can be difficult.)

JENS ANSWER- SCREWWWWWWWWWWW THAT! I have ALWAYS dreamed of my father giving me away on my wedding day! I don't want both parents to do it! That just doesn't seem right to me!

oooooo and listen to this! This really pushed my buttons too!

Greeting at the entrance to the church:

Arrive at the church about half an hour before the time set for the celebration so that you can greet families and friends as they arrive and introduce them to one another as well as to the priest. The priest may join you in greeting your families and guests. You may also use this time for a photo session before the liturgy.

This time of greeting is important for establishing a warm atmosphere for your memorable celebration. Be sure to ask your ushers to seat your guest as close to the front of the church as possible so they will form a united gathering. In a celebration of your unity, there's no need to seat the bride and groom's guest separately. Seat them together so they can get to know each other.

OKAY...NO NO NO NO NO! Nobody except for my girls is allowed to see me in my dress before the wedding and there is no way in hell that I am standing there greeting family and friends as they come in! And, I don't know if it's just me, but does it seem like the priest is trying to make it his day as well? He wants to be involved in some pretty important things. And my families will be separated. It's weird if they sit together. I don't want them to get to know each other until the reception. If they sit together and get to know each other that means they are going to sit there and talk and I don't want that. I want them to be focused in on what is happening in front of them.

And I have to choose from the book that he gave me the music that I want...and I have to go through the bible and plan the whole hour and whatever ceremony too! I'm so mad.. we are thinking of just getting a JP to marry us somewhere...We don't know what we're going to do anymore! All we know is that if we don't get married in a church, a catholic church, that his Nonna will be really upset with us.

Wedding Dress
ITS ORDERED!!!
So, I know the wedding isn't for like another 10 months but I am one of the Maggie Sottero brides. The store my bought my dress from said that I had to put at least half down in order to not be charged the extra that they were jacking up the dress for. But, when you put half down they order in the dress. I'm freaking out. It's so ugly online...looks nothing like what it does when I put it on. That's why I haven't posted pictures or anything. I hope to god I love it again when I put it on. I do this all the time, I panic about it and then as soon as im at the store and put it on I feel like a million bucks.

I actually had a different dress picked out and was absolutely in love with it. Had my heart set on getting it. Well, I'll tell you a little story about the dress that I loved, that I lost, to a bitch! ANYWAYS, hahaha well, ok...kind of weird story but now I have to share. My fiance's ex gf and I decided that we didn't want to argue about stuff anymore and not be mean to each other because it was just too awkward when we saw each other out in public and also because we have a lot of the same friends. Because we are both engaged we decided one day to talk wedding. First we started talking on facebook asking each other random things for help, just like we do on this website. Then she added me to msn..anyways, we shared pictures of our dresses and to make a long story short a couple of months later she messaged me and says 'Please don't be mad at me but I have a question to ask you'. I thought it was going to be something about my FH so I was like ok..shoot..i can take it. Then she goes, 'I think I may have purchased your dress today'. She shows me a picture and SURE ENOUGH...it's my dress. She said she could remember kind of vaguely what it looked like but wasn't exactly sure. As soon as she told me I drove to the dress shop, tried on about a million dresses until I decided on the one I have now.

So, needless to say since then we haven't really spoken much. All I know she is getting married tomorrow. I secretly hate her still.

Part 1: Not doing so well!!
I know I haven't been on lately at all...it's because there has been a lot of drama going on in my life..which has caused me to eat my little heart out. I was doing so well too! I haven't even stepped on the scale in a week because I'm scared to even look. I have been eating basically anything that is in my sight. Especially chocolate or any type of candy at all. The bad thing is that I'm totally craving it now when I wasn't so bad before. It's because of all of this damn stress! I was scared of losing my FH for something really stupid that I did a couple of months ago that he found out about (no, it wasn't cheating but it might as well had been with the effect that it had on him). Things are way better now though, thank god. I wasn't sure how much more of it I could handle. We are having some trust issues but everything will turn out fine.

Another thing that has been stressing me out hardcore is applying for another job that I didn't think I would got that I actually did. I'm not sure when I start but I'm excited!!

Found another possibility!
Too many songs to choose from!
I found another Disney song that I am in love with that I completely forgot about and don't know how! It's called If I never knew you from the Pocahontas sound track. Could be another possibility for a first dance!

Ask a question! Walking into the reception!
Which song are you using?
I was just wondering which song you are walking into the reception to? My FH and I are die hard Disney fans so I was thinking of playing Ever, Ever After by Carrie Underwood. I think I want the whole wedding party to walk into it as well instead of switching up the song. I think it's a super cute idea considering I'm pretty sure the song we are going to do our first dance to is So close from the Enchanted Soundtrack.

This is the song I'm thinking of doing. Tell me what you think:

Groomsmen
Meet the boys!
Al's best man is Bobby or better known as Bobz. They met in grade school, went off to high school together and have been great friends since. Al was in Bobz wedding this August as one of his grooms men.

Steve and Al also went to grade school together. Steve and Bobz are brothers which is how they met. Steve was supposed to be the best man (Al and Steve are the same age) but Al decided to pick Bobz because Steve gets married 3 weeks after us so he figured it would be too much stuff on his plate to deal with all at once.

Scottie and Al met through Austin I believe who is also friends with Steve and Bobz. (It's seriously like a huge love triangle with their friends lol) Me and Al actually lived with Scottie for a year.

Bridesmaids
Meet my girls!
My maid of honor is Lynda who just recently got married in July. I was also her maid of honor. We have been best friends since grade 6. Lynda lived with me off and on in our home town for a couple of years throughout grade school and high school. I consider her the sister I never had but always wanted.

Kym is one of my bridesmaids. We have known each other since grade 8 and have been inseparable since. Have gone through a lot of tough times and have always managed to make through it no matter what.

Ashley and I met in high school through a mutual friend of ours. Our friend used to tell me all the time that Ashley didn't like me so I never really spoke to her much. After high school Ashley moved up to Thunder Bay. We became very good friends and hung out a lot. I actually met my FH through her! I was one of Ashley's last minute bridesmaids in her wedding a couple of summers ago.

Diaries of a Chubby Chick
Part 1
Good afternoon ladies! So, I'm feeling pretty good about this whole thing! I've been SORT of keeping to my plan although I definitely went searching through the cupboards last night and found double stuff oreos! I weighed myself again today, this time naked (last time I had PJ's on) and my weight is 160.8! lol kind of a big jump from 162.6 yesterday. Needless to say I've been glowing ever since. Obviously I should have weighed myself with my clothes of yesterday as well hahahaha. Ah well! So far it's been a good start to this whole thing. Let me tell ya, sharing my weight with people has been a huge issue my whole life. I have always been really self conscious and have found it really difficult to open up to anybody about the way I feel because of my grade school and high school years. Wow, I make it sound as if it was a long time ago when in reality it really wasn't lol. Anyways, all throughout grade school I was teased. I had always been the biggest kid in my class and then when I went on to high school it got even worse. I wanted to drop out of school right at the beginning of grade 9 because of the things I was called. It got so bad that my parents had to get the kids parents involved as well. When I finally started sticking up for myself though they eventually left me alone. Funny thing, when you see the people that were bothering me in school they are now two or three times the size of me. It just boggles my mind....I really don't understand some people! Oh well!

Today has been a good day so far! Hopefully there are more to come!!!
