Well, I had never met Jessica before the Youth Camp of 2006. During that Youth Camp, It was a great time for me. I was single and without a job and had all the time in the world. I had gotten out of a relationship about 5 months earlier After that past relationship, I quit looking for a ladyfriend

I noticed a group of young people crowded around a picnic table. My unfailing curiousity got the better of me. I ventured over to the table and my heart skipped a beat. Here at the picnic table, there was a girl showing off her violin. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Her eyes caught me first. They were uniquely beautiful brown eyes. From then on, I had always told, Jessica that even if she got in a car accident that permanently disfigured her, I would always recognize her eyes.
And I went about my day. I thought to myself, "I am not here to find a ladyfriend."

I occasionally looked to find Jessica in the crowd. As I saw her praying and really seeking God, I felt it again. My heart had skipped a beat.
After service, I fellowshipped with my brethren a bit and I once again met Jessica . When I retired for the night, I could think of nothing else but Jessica.
I talked to her for a few minutes and then went to the church to inquire of God once more.

on a scale of 1-10 of the perfect girl, this one scored 12.9. I had all the information that I needed but I needed to know if she was available and if she was interested in me. Just before the morning service began, a friend of hers pulled me aside and asked me if I was interested in Jessica. I said yes.

She pulled me over to her, sitting with her friends:
"So would you like to go out with Jessica?"
"Absolutely!"
Here, is where everything together. I'll never forget that day. She was wearing red and looked so beautiful. I almost thought it was a joke and too good to be true when her friend said Jessica was interested in me.

As they started singing, Jessica would stand in the back of the choir and give me funny looks, teasing me.( i was flerting) She was so cute.
During indoor activities, Bro Lamb called Bro Daniel and I to do the chicken dance. Afterwards, I couldn't feel more humbled and so I asked Jessica out. This was the moment that sealed my heart for her.

"So, you think you would want to go out with somebody like me?"
"No."
That's right, she said no! Everytime I tell the story, people are always surprised till I explain the rest:

"The thing is, my parents won't let me go out with anybody till I'm 18, and im 16.
This hit me hard. My heart skipped another beat. She would not go out with me without her parent's permission. She wouldn't even allow me to call her without her parents permission. She would rather be righteous with Christ and be happy with me. and now we and together, forever.

me and my boy friend have been together for 2 and half years, and we are Christians so we keep are self’s from each other. Some times I think it is to hard to wait, but I’ll never have another I love him and that Is why I’m going to wait for him. He is now starting college so it will be 2 years till we get married, but he is worth it.
