So I really love this dress by Sherri Hill...but I just called in to get the price and it's around $500!!!!

What should I do? Do you think that's way too much money to spend on a dress you may possibly only wear for one night????

On the other hand, you don't have any other night like this one EVER again and this dress will be altered to fit my body perfect, so its way better than store bought!!!!
Plus, if I want to get it, I have to order it NOW, as my stagette is in 2 weeks!!!!

I need your advice WBC ladies!!!!

I vote no. $500 is a little bit price and bach parties can get a bit wild what if a drink gets spilled on it, a sweat naked guy is rubbing on it, etc.

OMG, you definately should! The price is a little much, but if its in your budget go for it! It is beautiful.

It's not really in my budget but I would totally go for it, if I could. You'll look incredible in it and you're right, when will you ever get a chance to wear a dress like this again?

I vote no but that's only because that costs more than my dress, including alterations. but...if its in the budget or you can make room for it, then go ahead. its a very beautiful dress and like you said you'll never get to wear it again. if you can afford it than go for it.

I wouldn't spend that much on a dress. It's too expensive! I would check other stores for similar dresses.

Wow, that is a fabulous dress! I agree with the other girls, if its in your budget and you love it go for it. I know I've seen some other sequin dresses out there for maybe not as much too.

Personally, I think you could find a very similar dress for less than $100 so I wouldn't buy it.

My instincts would say that if you thought it was really worth $500 you would have purchased it already and the post would have been more like, "look at my super awesome stagette night dress" lol...but I'm just saying, you don't want that buyers remorse to kick in after you buy it and it might since you are debating it. =)

I'm sure you'll look FAB in whatever you choose to wear!

thanx for all the advice...its true, if I wanted it that badly, I wouldn't have wrote this post....so I've decided not to buy it (tear). But I'm going shopping this week to look for something, I'm sure I'll be able to find something just as HOT, but for more than half the price.
