DIY Wedding
Our menu & centerpeices started....

My girlfriend who did our invites, did our menu too.
This is just a rough copy of it, our monogram will be brought up into the lace at the top.

We had enough damask going on with our linens, guest favor boxes and the
card box, thought we'd mix it up a bit with a lace accent... what do ya think?!?!?
LOVE IT!!! :)

Then another girlfriend is a florist and will be doing our flowers for us, so I went over and helped her put the strand of pearls in our centerpeice.

The pic isn't the greatest, but how we did this was re-strung the pearls with
wire and then pulled the wire through the foam top that will be
holding the flower stems in and tadaaaaaa!!!!! I think it'll look
great.
Here is my inspiration pic. Lets hope this is how they turn out!!!!!

I really love the lace on the menus. Your food choices sound so good! I'm sure that your centrepieces will look super pretty.

I LOVE it!!!!  Of course, I'm also a damask, lace, & pearl bride :D  Would you mind sharing with me where you purchased your pearl strands from?  I have been trying to find some where the wire/strand isn't showing between each individual pearl, but haven't been having much luck :(

"hecallsmehisdarlin" : we got the pearl strands from Michaels, but we had to re-strand the pearls with wire to do this, it wasn't as bad as it sounds tho!!!

These look great. We are getting married in 4 weeks=) and need to get menu cards together. Do you still have the templete for this? Did you just buy lace from a store like michaels and wrap it around?
