What does your wedding band look like?

#4 it is ladies...thanks for all your advice!!!

I am clueless as to what to get for my wedding band and Im actually starting to stress a little about finding one.

Pic 1 is my E-ring and it has princess cut diamonds around the band, I could go matchy matchy with my wedding band, but I want something a little different.

I've posted up some that I like, but dont know if they would go with my E-ring...they are all HUGE diamonds, so I'd want them smaller (because FH would ring my neck if I ever spent that much on a ring!!!), but just an idea of what I like.

HELPPPP!!!!! Which would you pick and what did you choose for yours?

Mine is just like #4!  Came in a set :)  #4 would match your E-ring too if you want them to match.  Otherwise I think that number 6 is my fave.

love love love your e-ring! i really like pic #4, but it would be very matchy-matchy. my ring came in a set so i didn't have to worry about it. duggytobe JUST posted about a somewhat untraditional band that might work for you. if i were you i would go to the jewelry store and try on every band in the place to see what catches your eye.

I forgot to say, your ring is beautiful alone, so number 4 like mines would be lovely.

Many of the rings you show here are just encrusted with diamonds! I like a simpler look, so I prefer ring #4 - the one that would match your e-ring. But if you like a more bling-y look, go for something else! Check out a local jewelry store  - you could go to the mall and try all the bands on like sarah darling suggested. Just like your wedding dress, you'll probably feel it when you find the one!

The fourth one would be my choice, but as you said, you don't like matching...

Maybe you could do a round eternity. It would give a different texture and a different look, while still being thin. Or maybe look at flush-set instead of channel, like this band. It will keep the princess cut theme, but still not be quite matchy-matchy.

Myself, I have a simple solitaire and a diamond band.

I will give advice from my Jeweler Uncle who we are getting ours from..he said that the baguettes (like shown in the picture right after your E ring..the stones in the center)get dirty quickly and do not clean well. They loose sparkle. You get more shine from round, emerald or any cut besides the baguettes. My FMIL got a new band years ago and it had baguettes..she regrets it because they have lost the sparkle and even with a good cleaning it does not look the same like it did the day she purchased it.
I would stay away from any baguettes in your wedding band..your ring is stunning, you dont want it to get lost in a wedding band that gets dull and cloudy over time.
Just some advice hope it helps..
of course the stores you go to wont tell you that..they just want a damn sale lol

Thanks for all ur advice ladies...u've all made some good points.  One being that I shouldn't pick something too "blingy" as it will outdo my e-ring!!!  dont want that!!!

Love #4 - it's actually how I want my band too.. and I do agree with the point that you don't want to take away from your E ring too, keeping it simple will keep it standing out as it should!

I think it really depends on how closely you want your rings to fit together. I have an oval e-ring with a high setting and it was nearly impossible to find something that fit comfortably with it, without showing or pinching too much skin between. I ended up picking a chevron shaped ring as it would cost too much to have something custom made and curved or straight bands left too much space between the rings (I have fairly short fingers and can't pull off anything too big). Definitely go around your local jewelry stores and try various rings on with your e-ring. it'll give you a good idea of what you like, don't like and you can narrow down your search from there.

i vote number 4! it looks like they go together well. you also can look into having one made that goes perfectly with your ring since it didn't come as the set.
