Ask a Question
Flower Ideas
So the wedding will be Turquise, white and black and I decided to do Silver accents instead of purple. Since the Bridesmaid dresses will be turquise with white sash, I want them to carry white bouquets wth some silver in them and possibly turquoise ribbon around the bottom of the bouquet.
I can't figure out what color I should carry? Anybody have any pics of flowers or any ideas?? |

Sand Ceremony
Blending our families
Since we are blending our families, we want our wedding to be just us and our children, we will have a sand ceremony instead of the unity candle. This is very important to us because we want the children to feel involved in the ceremony and want them to know this is about all of us not just Jerry and I..
The Wording of the ceremony will be something like this Minister: _________ and _________, today you are making a life-long commitment to share the rest of your lives with each other and honor your children as well. family relationship is symbolized through the pouring of these two individual containers of sand; each representing all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be and another container for each child. There are children who will share in this marriage. _________ will now come forward to help us with the Blending of the Sands. The gathering of this new family will have a deep influence upon them. We realize that in order for the home to be a happy one, it is essential that there be love and understanding between the children and the adults being married. As you each hold your sand the separate containers of sand represent your lives to this moment; individual and unique. As you now combine your sand together, your lives also join together as one family. An example of using sand in the Blending of the Family ceremony (with lots of kids!). You may now blend the sand together symbolizing the uniting of the children and bride and groom into one. Just as these grains of sand can never be separated and poured again into the individual containers, so will your marriage and your family be. |

The Ceremony
Wedding and reception at the same place
So we found this place in Vancouver Wa, it caught on fire in September so they have remodeled and these pictures are the old ones, but the chapel still looks out to the pond and the Gazebo, the reception will be on the otherside of the building.
