Who do I invite from work?
OMG I didn't think it would be such a task to figure out who to invite from work....I work in the accounting dept for a law firm....we have about 7 partners in the NJ office that I am in and I have 1 supervisor....the question is Do I invite all the partners and my superviser? I do not work closely with the partners, but some people have asked me if I am inviting them so now it is in my head.....I know my superviser would not come bc he does not mix work with personal life.....my friends have said to just give all of them the invitation and let them choose...even if they dont come you will get a nice gift from them....I have no idea what to do...it is either all or none, I can;t pick and choose.....any ideas??

Feather Centerpiece...Opinions!
Does anyone else like feathers....when I started wedding planning all I could think about were feathers.....but then people like my mom, friends...pretty much everyone looked at me like I was crazy so I started looking at flowers and was gonna go with a fall theme, but as it sooo happens I am back to my feathers and I am going to do them...I mean my groomsmen are wearing converse, my wedding music is anything BUT classical.....why should I do traditional flower centerpieces bc everyone else likes them....plus it is a lot more budget friendly to do the feathers
so what do you ladies think if I alternate tables with these two centerpieces....I got the low centerpiece idea from unpredictable bride's page ( I think)..... |

Feather Fan for Bridemaids
I was originally going to have my girls hold ivory roses, but their bouquets were priced at $50 each....I have 8 bridesmaids so that would be $400 just on their flowers that will be tossed after the ceremony....then I though I would make feather pomanders for the girls to hold until I found these......do you girls like these? they are about $10 each......$80 BEATS $400 any day and they can keep them

I am loving the tuxedo with converse look....all the guys seem happy about wearing sneakers to the wedding....I will change into a pair towards the end of the night when my feet can't take it anymore...

Changed Centerpiece Again
Originally, I wanted low floating candle centerpiece surrounded by flowers, but then I thought about the fact that the wine/water glasses on the table would be higher than my centerpiece....people would have to stand to really see the centerpice.....I was looking around for other ideas and found this......
I love it...it has a lot of candellight which I loove bc it sets such a nice mood and it is good lighting......and I was thinking of either red or ivory roses in the mint julep cups.....what do you girls think? do u like this? |
