Wedding Cake

Simple but elegant...

I've been on a hunt for cake images and haven't really found anything that caught my eye. I knew I wanted a 4-5 tier cake with some bling and cascading roses; however I couldn't decide if I wanted a cake topper or a crystal banding going around each tier.

Well was reading Essence magazine and saw that T. D Jakes eldest daughter got married. I browsed through her photos and when I saw her cake I instantly knew this was going to be mine, but adding a little twist of my own.

I will be purchasing the cake topper from www.topperswithglitz.com. Since my colors are black, ivory, red and gold. I spoke with the designer from topperswithglitz and she stated she would use crystal, silk and jonquil AB stones to "BLING" out my monogram topper. I will probably do a 6" topper so I can bring all the attention to the cake and to add to the affect I will have pin spotting also.

I will have roses around the cake table and the roses on the cake. Tell me what you think!
