Should I become a Wedding Planner??

So, after planning this wedding myself thus far, I have had a TON a friends telling me that I should become a wedding/event planner. I already work a full time job so if I do this, it would have to be part time to start. Then if it took off, I would make it full time, hire assistants, invest more...etc....Anyway, I just wanted to tell Brides out there that I am a very creative person, easy to talk to and VERY VERY detailed and budget minded. Also, I'm a very organized person, which is why my wedding day is going to be perfectly orchestrated (I hope! If everyone cooperates!) I am planning on making itineraries for everyone involved in the wedding so they know where to be and when.

I just want whoever looks at my page to know that if you have any questions or want ideas about how to match things up or anything to do with your wedding, please feel free to ask me. I'm not a registered planner or anything, but I would like to be some time in the near future and I would like to help anyone I can!! I've always thought about being a wedding/event planner, but I haven't had the real passion to do it until I started planning my own!

Flower Girl Dress

This is one of my two flower girl dresses. Both are identical except for the sash. This one is clover (from David's Bridal). If you look close on the sash it has metallic beads on it. I chose it because it matched perfect with my dress because mine has metallic beads on the bodice. The sash for the other flower girl dress is watermelon. Along with the matching headband as well. I also chose these dresses because of how the bottom is. The bunched up fabric at the bottom resembles my dress as well. The flower girl baskets I got online. The green ribbon
you see on it is what I'm planning on tying in bows on the sides to
dress it up some, but I ran out of the ribbon using it on the favors
I posted yesterday, lol.

Ok, so I FINALLY got the invitations and their in the envelopes and ready to send! They turned out really good! When I ordered them I wasn't sure if the pink and green would show up bright enough to see, but it looks like it did!

When I first picked them out I thought they were a little plain. But they came in my colors and match perfectly with everything I have thus far. I thought about dressing them up a little with ribbon tied around the top above our names but I decided to just leave them like they are. That takes time and I've only got 2 months and a few days till the wedding so I needed to get them out ASAP!!

The fabric in the background is actually my table runners for the reception tables. Will post more of that later. (Purchased from efavormart.com) Great website by the way if your looking for cheap ANYTHING for your wedding. They have a lot of inexpensive products that look really nice.

So I finally got all the wedding favors made up. Simple, but I think they
turned out great! I purchased the candy, glasses, and ribbon from Michaels. I also purchased the W (New last name initial) stickers and stuck them on the glasses to give it a personal touch. They were very easy to make and inexpensive.

The cake topper was also purchased at Michaels. I thought the W initial on the cake would match good with the sticker on the glasses!

Going for my final dress fitting next Wednesday! Cannot WAIT to finally bring it home and get my Bridal Portraits done...and mostly, can't wait to wear it on the wedding day!! Purchased from David's Bridal...
