Ladies i am sooooooooo happy with my finished product !! i used Microsoft publisher to do it .. i just used a template that was already in the program changed the colors added pics and boom! lol i saved it through the paint program so i can add it as a picture to show you which is why i think the pictures look funny b/c on the program they dont look that way lol or why they're so small it's so weird on my computer theyre huge =) i'm so proud of my first project!! next is the will you be my bm/moh cards .. i know i'm a little backwards lol |

Dresses and other things
so today when googleing Purple bridesmaids dresses this picture of the kardashians came up and immediately i was inspired and now i know what i want for my girls to wear .. of course i'm willing to compromise b/c not all of them will look good or feel comfortable in this style dress but still it's what i would like everyone to look like nice and glamorous... Also since my wedding planning at first was so off an on I've decided to go with an idea i've seen a few brides do on a couple of different sites as well as this one - and send them some "will you be my bridesmaids" cards in the mail .. I am going ti get creative with them i can't wait til they are finished ... And to going off of that same direction I'm going to be doing a Bridesmaids newsletter b/c we're all so scattered around and busy , which is what i am currently working when all of a sudden i stopped and said "hey i need to update my site " lol.... |

So I said yes to the dress...Again
lol well not really ... i ended up going with the Davinci so MUCH cheaper and it looks and fits EXACTLY like the maggie !! the only difference is the design on the beading around the bust but it's still very pretty and this dress is just so me and my style ... wooo hoooo!!! i was wicked excited ... it felt so good to say yes order it !!!... and it was such a great experience b/c my mom got to be there this time ! =)

so many great ideas and styles!
I love the fact that the Fiance is so much more involved with the planning process ... we are both abSOluetly in love with the boxed invitations ...
i really like the design of this first pic as far as the box goes.. i like the ribbon and then monograms.. i'm thinking of doing something like this .. as far as the actual invite Chris wants it to have a picture of us on it like pic #4 ... of course i want to put feathers underneath it or on it with some bling ... i really can't wait to start doing everything .. i know it's way too early for these but definitely wanted to share =) i did find a site that sells all different sized boxes on http://www.usbox.com/ i found under this section http://usbox.com/Boxes/2-Piece-Set-Up-Jewelry-Box-Cotton-Insert/1LV-P-X boxes under 1.00 !!! of course i haven't ordered yet but i definitely plan on ordering white ones in this size 8 x 5 1/2 x 1 1/4 |

So, the fiance asked me how much my dress was , i made the mistake of telling him , he than proceeded to tell me that i shouldn't settle on the first dress i like bla bla bla --- well he had me seconding guessing my dress as i'm searching online i can't find any other dress i like ,
BUT THEN !!! as i'm looking at a website for one of the stores near my house i come across the designer Da Vinci so i go to that website to see what the dresses look like and what do i find ?!?!! style # 50024 is exactly the same dress as Maggie's Adorae!!! BUT and this is a big BUT the Da Vinci is half the price if not more than the Maggie dress!!! well ladies this is a no brainer this is the dress i want this is the dress that fit great on me !!! so if i can get it for half the price hell yea it's my dress.. i plan to call the store tomorrow to set up a time to try the Da vinci dress on just to make sure!! what do you guys think ... did any of you try on Da Vinci dresses?! |

Wedding Dress
Said yes to the dress...
i'm surprised with my choice! i went in set on a certain style.. the dress i picked is still a mermaid dress ..but nothing like the pics i picked out lol ... i also tried on puffy ball gowns but i'm way too short i look like i was swimming in dress!...
...i wasn't even going to try my dress on..Jade (my bridal consultant) showed it to me and i'm like ehh... then some other girl tried it on and we were walking by her and she's like are you sure you dont want to try that on it has everything you're looking for .... so i was like sure .. it was the third dress i put on and i had my Ah HA moment i got all red and my sister was crying .. she made the other people who werent even with me cry too lol !!!... i felt so pretty so comfortable and loved myself in the dress .. i didnt even want to take it off !.... i wasnt able to get a pic of me in it but even if i did i wouldnt post it b/c alot of friends and family read my blog...It's the Adorae dress by Maggie Sottero ... i'm sooo excited! i love my dress |

Wedding Reception
We went to our appointment today with Twelve Acres the venue we chose to have the reception and we actually had the luck of meeting with the owner! he was such a sweet man! and we got to see the table set up of the room we would have... I'm pretty excited about this ! we get the reception room w/an adjacent room for either the buffet area (should we choose that) or just an area for guest to go sit down and chat also our party only would get access to the wrap around porch !
Price- is right in out budget theres NO room rental fee !!! so we had originally planned on doing a party with 75-80 guests but with how good this place is we can bump it to 100 and still be able to afford everything <-- i like that , i don't like the feeling of leaving someone out ... so now that i know how many tables i would be using i'm so antsy to start making center pieces !! but i feel like its too early i'm still about a year away ! |
