my final try on! i cant believe how perfect it fits even though i bought it online! the pics are a little off cause i had to have my 6 year old take them!

i think im officially going crazy! only 24 more days! i just hope everything goes as planned.

i logged onto this really cool site that was so easy to use!

since we both love the outdoors, we decided to spend a little time in the woods. we have booked a cabin in the smokys in gatlinburg where we can fish off our back porch!

so i was on this site and someone mentioned bathrooms and having a basket in them for quest. so i searched online and found this great website called http://www.bathroombaskettes.com/baskettes.htm
the baskets are actually pretty cheap for everything that is in them. i thought about it for a second, and since im a dyi bride, i called my maid of honor to do the job. surely we can do it cheaper right?

i think i need to quit with the firefighter theme before everything is red!

so i decided, that since this is at a fire department, and most of kevins family has been in the fire department at one point and time, that we should do a dedication to them. especially after 911! so we are going to have a long table where the guest sign in with photos of everyone that has been in the fire department in his family including his. along side of the photos will be his fire helmet and his dads. i think this will be a nice touch. we will also be doing a table where the gifts go that will have photos of our parents and grandparents weddings. then in the cake area will be two boards each with baby photos of the two of us.

ladies! a little advice!!!!! break em in now! someone gave me the idea to break my wedding shoes in......ouch!!!! but probably going to be worth it in the long run!

well, long story short....it took him 2 years and a baby later to propose. think he was a little gun shy? lol. really i think we both were! the diamond was picked out by my grandfather who was a jeweler before he passed away. the diamond is a .45 karat flanders brilliant vsII g color. its the prettiest diamond i have ever seen! the band came from my grandmother and also great grandmother after they both passed. both very special to me. they are both perfect! by the way if you have not noticed, we are already married......he he. just having a ceremony for all the friends and family to be at!

Just thought I would let you how much I love him and how luck I am to have such a loving husband and father. Not all men would do what he has done for our family. This is why I am making our theme all about the fireman.

my 6 yeah old will be the flower girl, and my 9 month old will just be watching, but shes dressed up too!

of course the fire trucks wont be in there, but they bay is huge! and kevin has a large family so we needed plenty of room! good thing, in may it should be warm so we can open the bay doors!

i got the idea since we are at a fire station to use metal buckets for our flowers. the large skinny ones are going to be on the food tables, the short ones are going to have all the bridesmaids flowers in them and the minis are for the guest party favors. my grandmother is putting silver and gold hershey kisses in them!

best thing i have ever found was this website! i got 100 invites with envelopes custom made by me for 60 dollars! they are perfect!

the ring bearer is my step son who is 3. he is in our photo below. cute as a button. trick will be to get him to walk down the isle, better yet fire station bay, with my daughter who is the flower girl. found on ebay.

kevin decided right awat that he wanted a casual wedding and wanted to wear flip flops. so then the challenge of finding something to go with it. plus hes a bodybuilder and is a little on the short side, so i have to find odd sizes! guess what i found on ebay!

i actually painted the cake topper myself. since my other half is a firefighter and the wedding is at a fire department i wanted to go along with the theme. and to think that they wanted $50 for one of these!

i got lucky and found one of these dresses on ebay! the other i already had from a previous wedding i had been to. there are 4 total girls in my wedding not including the flower girl. they are all wearing different dresses.

i found this dress online and its a perfect fit! i couldnt believe it! its going to be perfect with the theme of a casual may wedding!

I need help finding flowers that are going to go with my dresses! I have chosen muted gold dresses for the bridesmaids, and the color theme to the wedding is silver and gold. Any suggestions?
