I got the girls dresses ordered from Davids Bridal. The promise date is almost 2 weeks before the wedding so I know we will have them. :) That was a relief. The lady told us that since we picked the most popular color, which is latte, that we could even have them within 2 or 3 weeks. Hopefully she's right so the people who are altering them won't have such a rush.
Well everyone who said that I wouldn't get them in time was completely wrong. I got the dresses last Friday. That was only 2 weeks! Everything is going smoothly and I'm suprisingly not stressed. |

Change of Date!

Originally our wedding was December 20 but we decided to move it up. Now I get the beautiful outdoor summer wedding that I've always wanted. There is so much to do now.... I know that they say a few months to get bridesmaids dresses in but in reality how long did it take anyone to get theirs not including alterations?

Honeymoon
Europe!
I get TWO honeymoons now that we've changed our date.
1.We decided to keep our trip to Paris in December the same. I think going there during Christmas would still be really nice. Plus we already have a hotel and everything booked. 2.Right after the wedding though we are going to just plan a trip to Niagara Falls for a few days. UPDATE: We booked a package deal where we have a king bed, whirlpool tub, fallsview room, dinner, breakfast, and helicopter ride. It was pretty pricey but well worth it. |

This is a Mon Cheri dress
I began my search for a dress right away because I was excited. The first place I went was Alfred Angelo. I thought I wanted a dress with color but after trying it on, I didn't like it as much as I thought.
A coworker told me about MB Bride which is the largest privately owned bridal store in PA. It was a slow day so the lady let me pick 7 dresses to try. I thought I loved the first one until I tried this one on. It's hard to tell from this photo but it's an ivory dress with a silvery/ gold tone on the beads and lace. It's the cinderella dress that I have always wanted. |

We looked for weeks for the perfect ring. Near the end, all diamonds looked the same. He said "you have to wear it forever so it has to be perfect." Eventually, I found this one. :)
