Wedding Dress
How Do You Know???
Hola chicas...remember I said I would keep looking for dressed just to be sure? Well I did n I found a modern but vintage A-line dress. It was not what I was looking for at all!! But I really loved it. So when I came home i spent half the night thinking and comparing.. n the second dress just does not make me sparkle like the first one I wrote about its more of a ball gown n I looked glamorous and beautiful . It made my mom and sister cry.. I loved it.
So my question is twofold:how do you know that its right for you and did anybody do that whole what dress is made for your body type thing? Because Im short with curves n it seems ball gowns aren't made for me..lol. But I looked gorgeous in it. I was wearing that dress!!! Ladies.. how did you know? |

Wedding Dress
I Think I Found It!!!
Hola chicas.. So today I went out n tried on wedding dresses. It was so fun guys! After they "jacked me up" I was in love. it was a Eve of Milady dress ( did I spell that right) lol. I'm going to see if I can even find anything that measures up. I doubt it. I went to Bridals by Lori a.k.a. if you watch TLC the say yes to the dress shop as my mama calls it. NOO i'm not on it although I maybe in the background because we walked in front of the camera a bunch of times.
I looked like a sexy princess which is the look I was going for soo... n can we believe it was actually the first dress I put on. Every dress after that paled in comparison. Another change... I have decided to return to my original idea and have a destination wedding. That was always our first thought so wth y not right? I'm going to try to make this my last change lol. I |

New Places...New Faces
The Insanity Continues!!
Two new places... loved one hated the other...the second place was a sight to behold 3.5 acres of beautifulness..lol is that a word? Neway the lady was nice and great and seemed like she really wanted to help us. So just as I was about to bite I came home and pulled the place up on the internet. I always search for pictures of weddings at a certain place that I like to get an idea of what other brides have done with the space.
So after pulling this place up I saw reviews. BAD reviews about the lady who I had just met. Now I don't know if its just me but i always check the reviews of anybody im thinking of working with. I mean literally a full out search. Am I the only one who does this? I refuse to put money down and loose money to a maniac. Anybody had an estate they want to lend me? lol! So once again, I do believe the search continues. |

Wedding Venues
Wedding Venues..Someone Save Us!!
Hola chicas!! I have been missing in action because I am sick and still trying to wedding plan. Friday me and the future hubby went to two venues and then Sunday another venue. One gave us a really low price but its not the venue of my dreams. It would take much decoration to even be in the same world as my dream. However, it is literally thousand of dollars cheaper than the other two. And of course future hubby is stuck on that place because if how cheap it is. The second place was amazing as well as the third place.
However, i have noticed that they all nickel and dime you so you are going to pay coming or pay going. We have now looked at at least seven venues!! And guess what?? The search continues!! |

Wedding Venue
Give Me The Whole Day!!!
Chicas, is it just me and tell me if I'm wrong but these venues really only want to give you a couple of hours to do your wedding and reception!! I just feel like 4 hours for a wedding and reception is really nothing!! Not to mention, my family wants to party the night away so..... This is really a determining factor for me, i need more time and I don't want to purchase it in addition to whatever hours you have given to me. Besides it most instances another hour will run you $500 more!! Maybe I'm crazy but i want the whole venue for at least ten hours!!
What do you guys think? |

Wedding Flowers
Flowers, Wedding Party
Hola chicas!! Okay so my question is who is using real flowers and who is using fake flowers? I really am thinking about buying by bouquets from etsy.com. They are fake so i can keep them forever, they are blinged out (my theme) and gorgeous. I was hoping it might also be cheaper but I don't know? Anybody used fake flowers or one of these bouquets from etsy.com ? How did it turn out?

Wedding Planner
Certification???
Ok chicas I know I mentioned this before but I really want to become a certified wedding planner. I am not a 9 to 5 girl and I freaking love weddings, I mean everything about them! So my question to those of you who are certified which course did you take? I have looked at Penn Foster, QC Event Planning, etc.... Any recommendations because I am ready to do this now!!

Think I have finally decided on a theme before a venue...lol and it is.....BLING!! I'm thinking sparkle everywhere but not overbearing or to dazzling. What do you ladies think? Has this theme been overdone? Do you guys have any ideas or pictures that you could share?? Thanks chicas!!
