Wedding Decoration
colors...
I think i might be changing from the Tiffany Blue color to Pink green and the damask print ... i just love how the colors look together and it just seems more of a summer palette where as the blue was making me think of winter and snowflakes ! depressing! lol ... Chris suggested orange ! blah! that was black makes me think of Halloween ! pink and orange looks nice but i really like the pink and green .. only thing is i really like the whole Hollywood glam theme so those colors really don't go with the theme .. maybe i just wont have a theme ... what do you guys think ?!

Update
Well... my wedding date got pushed to July of 2012!... mainly because my fiance is still in school and just some other things we needed to get out of the way before i could jump back into this ....however i feel like i'm starting all over again though .. my old ideas or inspirations don't seem to pop out at me anymore!... *sigh* ... well off to do some searching ... =)

These are my Bridesmaids!
1~ MoH - My little sister Joan Marie ((pronounced joe-anne Marie)) 2) Joanna - i love this girl i met her a year ago when she started dating my longtime friend claudio but feel like i've known her forever! 3) Carol - My cousin! we're inseperable ... when we were kids my mom and my aunt would dress me my sister and her alike! i love her we lived togther for a year when we were 18/19 that was the best year ever! 4) Nikki -- we've been working together for like 3 years! =) but she's an AWESOME friend 5) Kristen ! we also work together me her an nikki! but like nikki we became more than co-workers! 6) my flower girl -- Carol's daughter Jaydaliz (my2nd cousin) i say niece =) ..lol she's so effin cute! and my ring boy will of course be my son! Anthony!! maybe i'll include the guys at another time =) lol |

Venue
Twelve Acres it is!!...
Yay!! i'm so excited !... so i had orginally posted that we were going to have to cancel our appointment today at Twelve Acres!.. Well Christian's brother called to tell us that because they were behind schedule , when they arrived at the u-haul storage it was closed!!.. so that means they will be leaving the truck in the lot and will be driving over here to my future MIL house!!!....
Which means we made it in plenty of time to our appointment!... we talked with one of the managers of the facility and she walked us around the place and showed us the room we'll be having our reception in (( The willow room)) ... And there happened to be an engagement party going on so i was able to see how it would look set up =) .... I LOVED IT !!! I asked about the linens-- they only have white table cloths and they have different color napkins... so i'm either going to go with black or if i do white she said i could pick them up a few nights before hand to ad a napkin holder or ribbon around them and then drop off =)... i feel like a little girl getting all excited b/c everything is now starting to feel real! Now we're going to plan on taking a few pictures so my brother can help me create our save the dates!... he's really good with graphics and stuff online so he'll create them for me and then i'll have then printed out somewhere ! once again YAY!! |

Update...
on the reception site...
*sigh* ... we had an appointment for today at five to go check out Twelve Acres... but we're going to have to reschedule, Christian's older brother is in the process of moving from florida to conneticut! .. and we're driving from RI to CT to meet up with him , his wife and his girls! *my future neices* =)!!.. to help them get settled in and unpack and stuff , we were actually supposed to do it yesturday but they fell behind schedule , which is ok... we still have plenty of time to pick a venue!
the only thing is that until we put money down on the venue i can't start on the invites or officially say that the date we want is our date b/c who know's if they have it available , ya kno?!... well off to get me and our son ready for the drive =) i'll keep you all posted |

Wedding Reception
we're in the process of deciding on a place
we're stuck between 2 places... The Venus De Milo and Twelve Acres... The venus is pretty the only two turn offs are the location = it's a beautiful building in a giant concrete parking lot!.. no treees no grass for pics!.... and second i'm having a really small wedding of maybe 75-80 people so b/c i dont have a hundred i have to have it on a sunday!.. and if i dont have the full 75 people i have to pay for the 75 no mater what.. WTF!?? like seriously the price reduction is nice but i dont want people to go to work on a monday hungover and tired and i'm not paying for left over food !...
---and Twelve Acres has a better food selection, for less money! (( yay)).. and they're surrounded by trees and there's grass and all that good picture backdrop stuff! .. and i can have up to -90 people for a SATURDAY wedding!!! and dont have to pay extra ... we're going to look at this place this sunday... i have a feeling it'll be the one thought ! =) |

Wedding Budget
is driving me insane!
my fiance and his family dont appreciate the whole big wedding thing ... his parents went to city hall, his older brother did the city hal thing and chris would RATHER do the city hall thing... but he is FULLy aware i will not go for that lol i wish i could have a wedding like out of Platinum Weddings but , neither of us are rich .. We're paying for this our selves he's given me a budget of 7,000.00 to work with =/ ... but would like if i could stay under 5! he's hilarious!... lol... i'm going to try and do as much DIY stuff as i can ! and we're doing alot of shopping around for the best packages for everything =)
