So I love flowers they are so pretty and some smell really nice. While researching for my wedding flowers are way to expensive for one day. Not to mention I wont be able to keep them for long after my wedding only memories in pictures. However budget is something that is huge since me and the FH are the ones paying the bill. So now I have seen a lot more brides opting for a more personal touch with a brooch bouquet. At first I was not to fond of the idea but I see more and more brides making very creative and beautiful bouquest with a brooch. Now I believe I will be on the bandwagon as well.

I really love brooch bouquets!! They look so classy and elegant!

ive always loved brooch bouquets but cant afford them they seriously they are so beautiful :)

I just completed my DIY brooch bouquet. I felt the exact same way you do about flowers and I figured if I was going to spend atleast $100 on my bouquet, it should be something I could keep.
I found an amazing website www.fabulousbrooch.com that sells all kinds of brooches starting at $3.00 each. I also got creative and went thru the clearance bins at marshalls, burlington coat factory and a few other stores to picke up chunky, damaged (mostly) jewelry with flowers, I disassembled them and added them to my bouquet.

Brooch bouquets are super classy looking. I think that's a good way to go.
