Hi Ladies

Has anyone had or planning to have a lunch wedding and reception? If so do you have a timeline in mind and if you had an early wedding how did it work out? I think we are thinking more of an early wedding to of course cut back costs since we will be paying for everything and really we dont want to be debt for one day we have kids and need to live after LOL. I just worry that many will not dance or feel like its fun versus a nigt time wedding any feedback?

Alanna, I went to a wedding last year that had a lunchtime reception. I had a great time as a guest at my friend's wedding. What they did was have a late morning wedding, then the reception that followed was exactly at lunch time. It wasn't bad at all. We danced at our friends wedding and the food was really good because we were all so hungry for lunch, anyway LOL.

My friend's Sunday, lunchtime wedding saved her and her husband a lot of money at their venue and it seemed like the bride and groom had a lot more energy. It doesn't seem like a bad idea at all.

One thing I know when people attend events such as a wedding, they prepare their bellys for the food. They eat light to enjoy the food at the event. Whatever you decide to have will be ok with everyone, and i suggest you have a hype person (someone that is always fun and not shy). I have an entertainer coming to my wedding and he will more than likely stick a round after the performance to bring some smiles to the reception. It will all work out for you!

I got them from Michael's and used the coupons to help with cost. I also used e3000 glue.
