So on Saturday I met with the event manager at the Holiday Inn the pictures looked great online but things always looks different in person. The venue exceeded my expectations and I love this place. I know its a hotel however the event manager was wonderful and she gave me some pretty awesome perks. The other venues that I have been to were expensive at over 100 pp and one that I really liked ended up ibeing around 69 pp which I thought was pretty good in this area. However after checking out the hotel they are at 38pp which blew my mind. She is also able to get me special draping and uplighting for free. She also gave me free upgrading on linens she has gone above and beyond. She drawed up a contract and is holding our date until October 13th 2012. So we are looking it over and basically I'm sold just waiting on my FH final decision which he likes the other venue at 69 pp but in the end he wants me to be happy so I think he will go with what I like plus he is liking the price and being on a budget this makes the most sense and we will get a great place that dosent look cheap.
