Now I can tote around my favorite photo in the form of a spiral notebook and jot down my notes, vendor questions, etc!! oh, Vistaprint how I love thee! hahahahaha
This is the photo from the night Patrick and I got engaged at our favorite restaurant, Spice Market inside the W Hotel downtown Atlanta..
After that night this photo became my screensaver and NOW it's my notebook I take EVERYWHERE. Talk about a conversation starter, I think I've been stopped a million times just for someone to say.. "awwww is that you?" *giggles*
I paid $9.74 for the notebook to have the photo front and back, it has over 200 pages and bound spiral notebook style.. not the heaviest notebook out there, BUT it beats carrying around my Wedding Planning Binder that is now half my body weight. LOL
The scripture 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a (Love is patient, love is kind...) is a verse we hold near and dear, so it's on the front as a reminder of what's really important throughout this process and in our marriage.
Some other things I made were cute little monogram stickers to continue our modern vintage theme in our colors, as well as I created these special invites I plan to hand-deliver to our wedding party.. I incorporated the colors of our wedding and the modern vintage theme to pull it all together.
The poem I made up myself, and it's on the back of their invite. It says:
The Plans are made and in just a little while,
We will be walking happily down the aisle
Nothing would give us more joy and pride
than to have you support us right by our side.
We're crossing our fingers, now that we've picked you
hoping you will be there when we say "I Do!"
The memories we'll make, the laughs we'll share
wouldn't be the same, if you weren't right there.
So if you say yes, to help us avoid the stress
We promise not to have you in an ugly tie or dress.

I plan on reading the poem at our engagement party right before we announce who our wedding party consists of. Hopefully I will be able to get through it without crying. LOL
We have some awesome friends and family. all of whom are cheering us on in full support. We are so lucky to have them in our lives, and I can't wait to celebrate all that God has done for Patrick and I through our love connection.
