Trying my best to remember my original idea of using our initials on a table, I started mapping out the vision of what I wanted to do with the color purple and this really nice ribbon I found.
Purchasing wholesale has done 2 things.. (1) saved me money and (2) transformed my garage into "Wedding Central" LOL
I have ribbon, strands of pearls, gossamer, paint, beads, you name it.. coming out of my ears.. What puts my heart at ease is combined, I doubt I've spent over $40 for all of it, AND it will allow me to do multiple projects as I decorate, keeping everything on a continuum even keel with my theme.
So, with that said, I took out my purple acrylic paint and made these wooden letters our wedding color, then started mapping out how to give them a vintage feel.. Didn't want to go Doily crazy, so instead I took the ribbon that reminded me of the print I chose for my engagement party invitations, and tried to figure out how to give the letters a much needed vintage facelift. hahahaha
Not completely sold on how this looks, but as a work in progress, I'm having fun with it.
Once I settle on a design, I will post the update.. Cross your fingers!
Now that I've started all these various projects, I think I owe the inventor of the glue gun part a hug at this point. hahahahaha
Special shout out to my bridesmaids and Maid of Honor! They have been absolutely phenomenal at helping me find supplies, running errands, ordering things online, and making sure I feel supported. I love you all dearly! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
