So...my wonderful hubby-to-be went on a fact finding mission to locate our reception hall while he's in Savannah
We had settled on the Knights of Columbus by the Oglethorpe Mall based on price ($900 for the day, included a bartender and we could use our own caterer) especially after speaking to the coordinator who was soooo nice.
Now I see why she was sooo nice. The place ended up being a total dump.
Because he knows me, Patrick took the liberty of taking pictures and video of the banquet hall, the outside and the kitchen.. All I can say is *EWWWW* as my Maid of Honor Allison would say.
Because it's a place of business, I won't completely trash them, but what I will say is they haven't kept up the grounds, the building has taken a signifant beating, and the banquet hall itself needs some major uplifts so you don't think you're in a 1950's cafeteria.
*sigh*
