DIY Wedding

Working on our Wedding Program.. we're doing vintage fans!

Totally lucked up and found 110lb creamy ivory reams of 250ct cardstock paper on CLEARANCE for $7.99 at Michaels this week, and working together with one of my friends at Staples figured out how to use a template I came across online (special shouts out to athomealterations.com for the template!) to make a really cute fan wedding program.

Since my theme is modern vintage, at the base I am going to put a brad so it opens smoothly and adorn the edges with pearls or something and a simple ribbon through the hole.

I've decided to use my doily cones for the "tears of joy" and simply hang them on the chair as decoration, and use the ecofetti in little white containers I found (12 to a pack!) at the Dollar Store last weekend.. that way I don't have to purchase as much ecofetti and I can alternate the colors every other seat to make for a pretty picture as we're leaving.
