Working on my DIY Quill Pins for guestbook, Bridesmaids Bouquets...

Ok, so with 3 months to go, I am in crunch mode with these DIY projects..

Thank goodness I'm almost done with my brooch bouquet so I can move on to something else.

Tonight I started working on my vintage quill pens for my guests to use when signing our guestbook. I'm so excited!! Michaels is having a 40% sale on all Ashland products and I lucked up with finding the most awesome PURPLE feather plumes to turn into my quill pens

I went to the Dollar Tree and bought a pack of black writing pens that have the gel ink so they will write smoother.. $1 for a pack of 8. YAY

The feathers came down to $2.99/each and with my glue gun and some floral tape, I am starting my assembly process...

I will post as I go.. I found some really nice ribbon and once the pens have secured overnight, I will finish these up and post the final product.
