Ask a Question
Profile Wedding Color meanings
This may be the dumbest question ever, but I don't care. I'd really like an answer.

You know the eight colors you can choose as 'your wedding color' for your profile information?

Wedding By Color says this in the home page: "Wedding By Color reflects the bride and groom's character, taste and style: vibrant, elegant, playful, classy..."

This indicates to me that each colour has a thematic meaning behind it. Right now, my colour is green, but only because that was the default one. Where is the list of what each color means, or am I completely wrong on this point??

The color is just what each bride picks for their wedding colors.

the color only means that the bride picks the main color of the wedding from the colors they have. Then with your colors you build your theme for your wedding throught pictures and blogs.

Ive read that before that the color has a meaning...
Red – Represents boldness and fieriness. It also signifies a sense of life and vitality. Red is generally associated with celebrations and gifts.
Green – Most commonly stands for youth, life, and nature. Green can also represent victory and healing.
Blue and Indigo – Generally associated with loyalty and faithfulness. They are also associated with winners, as in “blue ribbon.” Blues and indigos also represent nobility, soulfulness, tranquility and intuition.
Purples, Lavenders and Violets – Signifies royalty and authority. They also represent creativity and inspiration.
Yellows and Golds – Represents Spring and peacefulness. These colors also represent visibility and awareness.
Whites and Silvers – Stand for peace. According to most myths, white was the color worn by the gods. These colors also represent intensity and protection. Silver especially represents encouragement and the removal of negativity.
Black – Signifies divine power. Although black generally has a negative connotation, there are some positive meanings associated with black. For instance, black represents expertise (as in a black belt karate expert). It can also stand for elegance, sophistication, constancy and wisdom.
Orange – Represents creativity, pleasure and illumination.
Pink – Associated with fidelity, love, sensuality, openness, gentleness, and harmony.
