I have found her...finally!
Hi ladies!
I know I have posted a few times about my dream dress, but this one blew the other ones out of the water, the price tag was a huge help too! I will be the proud owner of an Alfred Angelo 2082W. The price tag was originally $899, but with my BFF's help, through a friend of a friend who closed her boutique, I got it for $339, brand new, off the rack! It fits amazing, gives me a crazy small waist (which I didn't even know I had), perfect length, and no annoying strapless bra needed! Are there any other brides out there who wore this dress on your wedding day? I would love to see it! |

Wedding Planner
Thank god for BFF's!
After getting a good start to wedding planning so far this year, I decided to take a whole week and not think about anything wedding-ish (I felt I needed it!). I went to a baby shower with Tiffany and within two days, she had already helped me book the venue (link below), track down gobs and gobs of FREE mason jars for the wedding, sort out the menu AND called a close friend of hers who used to own a boutique and still has tons of stuff for sale. Long story short, this Wednesday, I will have tons of wedding dresses to try on in the comfort of my own house, free of charge and with a HUGE discount.

Wedding Dress
I'm sorry, you want HOW much?
I started browsing for other wedding dresses since Lightinthebox.com no longer carries mine. I went into Alfred Angelo's website today and fell in love with this dress from their 2012 collection, not the almost $1k price tag. Being stubborn and refusing to pay full price for anything, I started looking at whole sale companies online and found the same exact dress for (you ready?)......
$238! I think its amazing, but worry about the way the back is cut into a V shape and if I can squeeze all of me into it and still look great. I'm still on the hunt...just had to share! |

Cheap Wedding Favors Site (Finally!)
Since Shawn and I have talked about our wedding (when he comes home from his deployment), I have been so friggin' excited I have been staying up all night looking online for DIY ideas, damask templates and cheap (but classy) wedding favors, its ridiculous - thank god for under eye concealer. (P.S. You have to check our their "Steals of the Week" - Im already goint to order my satin table runners in pink and black for only $2.49/each)

Wedding Dress
My DREAM dress...
Well girls, I think I finally found it. After spending hours at David's Bridal, I left exhausted and frustrated. There's not too much of a selection for a tall (im 5'11), "fluffy" girl like myself. I decided to go look online and found a great website, although Im a bit leary, but for the price, I'm willing to take the risk.

Our family is a huge part of who we were and who we are now - so why not celebrate it? It's going to be a fun and colorful outdoor wedding to follow with a heck of party afterwards and I can't wait!
My wedding is going to be primarily black and hot pink with touches of the damask pattern. My family and I are pretty crafty (and creative!) so alot of our decorations are going be DIY projects - wish us luck!
